In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the Lord Almighty raises against them.

In days to come, the people of Egypt will become weak. The Lord who rules over all will raise his hand against them. Then they will tremble with fear.

In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand that the Lord of hosts shakes over them.

In that day the Egyptians will be as weak as women. They will cower in fear beneath the upraised fist of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

耶和华必使埃及的海湾全然毁坏，他举手在大河之上刮起了暴热的风，击打它，使它分成七条溪流，人穿鞋便可渡过。

巴比伦的勇士停止争战，躲在堡垒之中。他们的力气耗尽，他们变成与妇女一样。巴比伦的住处焚烧，门闩都折断了。

看哪，你中间的士兵是妇女，你国中的关口向仇敌敞开，你的门闩被火焚烧。

当那日，亚述王要在挪伯停留，挥手攻击锡安的山，就是耶路撒冷的山。

耶和华必使人听见他威严的声音，又以极大的愤怒、吞灭的火焰、雷雨、暴风和像石块的冰雹，使人看见他降罚的膀臂。亚述必因耶和华的声音惊惶，耶和华必用杖击打它。耶和华必将定规要打的杖加在它身上；每打一下，都必配合击鼓弹琴的节奏。打仗时，耶和华必振臂与它交战。

看哪，我要挥手攻击他们，他们就必作自己奴仆的掳物。”你们就知道万军之耶和华差遣了我。

一人叱喝，令千人逃跑，五人叱喝，你们都逃跑；以致剩下的如山顶的旗杆，如山冈上的大旗。

落在永生上帝的手里真是可怕呀！

战兢在那里抓住他们，他们好像临产的妇人一样阵痛。

耶和华如此说：“我们听见颤抖的声音，令人惧怕，没有平安。你们且访查看看，男人会生孩子吗？我怎么看见人人都用手撑腰，像临产的妇人，脸都发白了呢？哀哉！那日为大，无日可比；这是雅各遭难的时刻，但他必从患难中得拯救。”
