In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the Lord Almighty raises against them.

In days to come, the people of Egypt will become weak. The Lord who rules over all will raise his hand against them. Then they will tremble with fear.

In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand that the Lord of hosts shakes over them.

耶和华必使人听见他威严的声音，又以猛烈的怒气、吞噬的火焰、暴雨、狂风和石头般的冰雹，使人看见他抡下来的膀臂。亚述人必因耶和华的声音而丧胆，耶和华必用杖击打他们；耶和华施刑的杖每打他们一下，人都会击鼓和弹琴；打仗的时候，耶和华必挥手与他们争战。

一个人的威胁，会使千人逃跑；五个人的威胁，会使你们逃跑得所剩无几，如山顶上的旗杆，又如冈陵上的旗帜。

落在永生神的手中实在可怕。

战兢在那里抓住了他们，他们的剧痛像妇人临产时的那样。
