In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the Lord Almighty raises against them.

In days to come, the people of Egypt will become weak. The Lord who rules over all will raise his hand against them. Then they will tremble with fear.

In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand that the Lord of hosts shakes over them.

In that day the Egyptians will be as weak as women. They will cower in fear beneath the upraised fist of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

On that day Egypt will be like women and will tremble with fear because of the threatening hand of the LORD of Armies when he raises it against them.

耶和华必使埃及的海干涸，挥手用焦热的风使幼发拉底河分成七条溪流，使人可以涉水而过。

巴比伦的勇士不再作战，躲在堡垒里，士气消沉，像妇女一样无力；巴比伦的房屋被火焚烧，城门被攻破。

看啊，你的军队就像柔弱的女人，你境内的关口向敌人敞开，你的门闩被火烧毁。

那时，亚述王必屯兵挪伯，向着锡安城的山岭，向着耶路撒冷的山丘摩拳擦掌。

敌人要攻击巴比伦人的战车战马和他们的盟军，使他们柔弱得像妇女；敌人要攻打他们的库房，肆意抢夺他们的财宝。

耶和华必使人听见祂威严的声音，在愤怒、烈焰、暴雨、雷轰和冰雹中让人看见祂降罚的臂膀。亚述人听见耶和华的声音必心惊胆战，祂必用杖击打他们。耶和华的刑杖每责打他们一下，祂的子民必击鼓弹琴。祂必在战场上挥手击打他们。

看啊，祂要挥手攻击他们，使他们被自己的奴隶掳掠。那时你们便知道是万军之耶和华差遣了我。

他们一人叱喝，必吓得你们千人逃跑；他们五人叱喝，你们必全部逃跑，以致余剩的人少得像山顶上的旗杆、高岗上的旗帜。”

落在永活上帝的手中是可怕的！

他们被恐惧笼罩，痛苦如分娩的妇人。

耶和华说：“我听见惊恐不安的喊叫声。你们去问问，男人能分娩吗？为什么我看见男人们都双手捂着肚子，好像分娩的妇人脸色铁青呢？唉！无比可怕的日子快来了，那将是雅各子孙的苦难之日，但他们必得拯救。”
