Where are your wise men now? Let them show you and make known what the Lord Almighty has planned against Egypt.

Pharaoh, where are your wise men now? Let them tell you what the Lord who rules over all has planned against Egypt.

Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you that they might know what the Lord of hosts has purposed against Egypt.

Where are your wise counselors, Pharaoh? Let them tell you what God plans, what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is going to do to Egypt.

Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you and reveal what the LORD of Armies has planned against Egypt.

智者安在、士子安在、世之辯者又安在、豈非上帝以此世之智為不智乎、

孰啟耶和華之心、與彼共議、誰為其師、訓以智慧、使鞫是非。

越在疇昔、我立斯民、未來之事、我皆預言、莫不徵應、孰能與我比儗哉、如有其人、使試言未來事、以為徵據。

經諭法老云、我使爾崛興、以顯我能、我名播揚於天下、

爾自恃巧令、迷眩於惡、自謂人不及見、我為主母、無能比儗。故必遭患難、昧於所從、不能自脫、災害忽臨、難以逆料。自昔迄今、爾惑左道、信巫覡、試使立於此、能小補乎、能勝敵乎、爾謀夫孔多、有人仰觀天象、占察星辰、每值月朔、以卜未來、以定吉凶、使其咸興、庶可救爾。

自恃為智慧聰明者、亦有禍矣。

西不曰、爾昔言亞庇米力為誰、曷為事之、至於今日、爾之前言何在。此非爾所蔑視者乎。今可出而與之戰。

猶大人與、爾之眾邑、各事一上帝、其數相等、所作之像安在、盍使彼並起、拯救爾曹。

使偶像至此、以未來之事、孰先孰後、明告乎我、觀其言、果有驗否、使彼言未來之事、借異跡以行彰癉、令我見之駭愕、知彼為上帝。

使爾知其智慧、不可窺測、較爾所知者、倍蓰無算、因悟上帝罰爾、不足以蔽其辜。上帝非可忖度、全能之主、豈得盡知。

奧哉、上帝何智慧之大乎、其法不可測、其蹤不可追、孰知主心、得與共議、
