是夜耶和華之使者出、在亞述營、擊其人十八萬五千、晨起視之、乃屍而已、

爾充於辱、非充於榮、亦當飲之、彰爾不潔、耶和華右手之杯、將傳及爾、污辱加於爾榮、爾行強暴於利巴嫩、加殘害於羣獸、使之驚怖、且流人血、行強暴於其地其邑、及凡居於其中者、必反乎爾、○

敵至亞葉、過米磯崙、屯輜重於密抹、越乎險隘、宿於迦巴、拉瑪震驚、掃羅之基比亞人奔逃、迦琳女乎、爾其大聲而呼、萊煞人乎、爾其側耳而聽、哀哉亞拿突乎、瑪得米那奔潰、基柄居民逃匿、是日駐軍於挪伯、揮手向錫安女之山、即耶路撒冷之岡也、○

以色列於耶和華為聖、乃土產之初實、凡噬之者、悉為有罪、災必臨之、耶和華言之矣、○

謂之曰、希西家云、今乃急難譴責羞辱之日、子臨產、而無力出之、

故萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、我指己生而誓、摩押將如所多瑪、亞捫將如蛾摩拉、徧成蒺藜斥鹵之地、永久荒蕪、我之遺民、必虜其人、我之餘民、必據其土、因彼驕矜自大、毀謗萬軍耶和華之民、故必遇此也、

耶和華曰、此乃爾所應得、我所量與爾者、以爾忘我、惟虛偽是恃、

此乃惡人由上帝所得之分、上帝為彼所定之業、

蓋耶和華必伸其冤、凡奪之者、必奪其命、

耶和華歟、願爾諸敵如是滅亡、願愛爾者、如日皎然而出、○其地綏安、歷四十年、

未被虐而虐人、未被欺而欺人、禍哉其人、爾虐人甫畢、則被虐、爾欺人甫畢、則被欺、

無庸拾薪於野、伐木於林、惟以器械燃火、昔為所刦、今則刦之、昔為所虜、今反虜之、主耶和華言之矣、○

或經其地、彼已烏有、我尋覓之、不得見兮、
