唉！多民哄嚷，好像海浪砰訇；列邦奔腾，好像猛水滔滔；

唉！万民闹哄，好像海浪澎湃，列邦喧闹，如同洪水滔滔，

唉！万民闹哄，好像海浪澎湃，列邦喧闹，如同洪水滔滔，

看啊，列国喧嚣，如怒海汹涌；万民骚动，如洪水滔滔。

唉！许多民族在喧哗，他们喧嚷好像海浪澎湃；列国在咆哮，他们吼叫，好像洪水奔流。

看啊，列國喧囂，如怒海洶湧；萬民騷動，如洪水滔滔。

唉！許多民族在喧嘩，他們喧嚷好像海浪澎湃；列國在咆哮，他們吼叫，好像洪水奔流。

啊，許多外族之民的喧嘩！他們喧嘩，正如諸水之喧嘩；啊，外國之民的怒號！他們的怒號，就像眾水之怒號。

噫、眾民喧譁、若海濤之漰渤、列邦衝突、若大水之奔騰、

我聞異邦之眾、譁然若海濤漰渤、威聲遠振、惟上帝咤叱之、使彼逃遁、猶之秕糠、為颶風所飄揚、猶之草芥、為狂飆所吹散、

噫、諸國號呼、如海洋震盪、列邦諠譁、如大水澎湃、

Woe to the many nations that rage— they rage like the raging sea! Woe to the peoples who roar— they roar like the roaring of great waters!

How terrible it will be for the nations that attack us! The noise of their armies is like the sound of the ocean. How terrible it will be for the nations who fight against us! They are as loud as huge waves crashing on the shore.

Ah, the thunder of many peoples; they thunder like the thundering of the sea! Ah, the roar of nations; they roar like the roaring of mighty waters!

Listen! The armies of many nations roar like the roaring of the sea. Hear the thunder of the mighty forces as they rush forward like thundering waves.

Ah! The roar of many peoples— they roar like the roaring of the seas. The raging of the nations— they rage like the rumble of rushing water.

Oh, the uproar of many peoples Who roar like the roaring of the seas, And the rumbling of nations Who rush on like the rumbling of mighty waters!

Woe to the multitude of many people Who make a noise like the roar of the seas, And to the rushing of nations That make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

Ah, the uproar of many peoples, that roar like the roaring of the seas; and the rushing of nations, that rush like the rushing of mighty waters!

Ah! The roar of many peoples— they roar like the roaring of the seas. The raging of the nations— they rage like the raging of mighty waters.

Woe to the multitude of many people,[ which] make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations,[ that] make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

The many nations massing together are as good as dead, those who make a commotion as loud as the roaring of the sea’s waves. The people making such an uproar are as good as dead, those who make an uproar as loud as the roaring of powerful waves.

Ah, the uproar of many peoples, who roar like the roaring of the seas; and the rushing of nations, that rush like the rushing of mighty waters!

死亡的繩索纏繞我，險惡的急流驚擾我；

「在太陽、月亮和星辰中將有徵兆出現；在地上，因海洋的咆哮和翻騰，列國的人就驚慌失措，陷入困惑混亂之中；

拿著七碗的七位天使中，有一位過來對我講話，說：「來，我要給你看那坐在眾水之上的大淫婦所要受的審判。

天使又對我說：「你所看見的眾水，那淫婦所坐的地方，就是許多民族、人群、國家和語言群體。

每一個在戰亂中所穿的軍靴和滾在血中的戰袍，都必燒毀，成為燒火的燃料。

我要以公正為準繩，以公義為鉛垂線；冰雹要掃滅謊言的避難所，眾水要衝沒你們的藏身處。

你以大能束腰，以自己的能力堅立群山。你平息海洋和其中波濤的喧嚷，平息萬民的喧囂。

他要向遠方的國家豎起旗幟，發出哨聲召來地極的人；看哪，他們必飛快迅速而來！他們中沒有人疲乏，沒有人絆倒，沒有人打盹，沒有人睡覺；他們的腰帶沒有鬆開，鞋帶也沒有拉斷。他們的箭矢銳利，弓已拉開；他們的馬蹄看起來像火石，車輪如同旋風。他們的怒吼如母獅，吼叫如壯獅；他們咆哮，抓住獵物叼走，無人能救。到那日，他們將向以色列咆哮，好像大海澎湃；人觀看這地，看哪，只有黑暗和患難，甚至光在密雲中也變為黑暗！

神是我們的避難所和力量，是患難中隨時可得的幫助，因此我們不害怕——即使大地變動，群山動搖陷入海中；即使海洋的眾水咆哮、翻騰，群山因海水上漲而震動，我們也不害怕。細拉

耶和華啊，洪流揚起——洪流揚起它們的聲音，洪流揚起它們的濤聲！耶和華在至高處大有能力，勝過大水的聲音，勝過海洋巨大的波浪！

耶和華的聲音在眾水之上，榮耀的神打雷；耶和華在大水之上。

因此，看哪，主必使幼發拉底河強盛的大水，就是亞述王和他所有的威勢，上漲淹沒他們，又上漲淹沒一切水道，漫過所有的河岸；然後湧入猶大，漫溢氾濫，高達頸項！他展開的翅膀，遍滿你廣闊的土地，以馬內利啊！」
