A throne will be established in faithfulness, And a judge will sit on it in trustworthiness in the tent of David; Moreover, he will seek justice, And be prompt in righteousness.

In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it— one from the house of David— one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.

A man from the royal house of David will sit on Judah’s throne. He will rule with faithful love. When he judges he will do what is fair. He will be quick to do what is right.

then a throne will be established in steadfast love, and on it will sit in faithfulness in the tent of David one who judges and seeks justice and is swift to do righteousness.”

then God will establish one of David’s descendants as king. He will rule with mercy and truth. He will always do what is just and be eager to do what is right.

Then in the tent of David a throne will be established by faithful love. A judge who seeks what is right and is quick to execute justice will sit on the throne forever.

Then a trustworthy king will be established; he will rule in a reliable manner, this one from David’s family. He will be sure to make just decisions and will be experienced in executing justice.

A throne will be established in loving kindness. One will sit on it in truth, in the tent of David, judging, seeking justice, and swift to do righteousness.

I will make those who limp a remnant, And those who have strayed a mighty nation, And the Lord will reign over them on Mount Zion From now on and forever.

And to Him was given dominion, Honor, and a kingdom, So that all the peoples, nations, and populations of all languages Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.

Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the empires will serve and obey Him.’

For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.

Behold, a king will reign righteously, And officials will rule justly.Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in an exhausted land.

Your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; your throne shall be established forever.” ’ ”

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is righteous and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”

The strength of the King loves justice; You have established order; You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

I will sing of the graciousness of the Lord forever; To all generations I will make Your faithfulness known with my mouth.For I have said,“ Graciousness will be built up forever; In the heavens You will establish Your faithfulness.”

Blessed be the Lord your God who delighted in you to put you on the throne of Israel; because the Lord loves Israel forever, He made you king, to do justice and righteousness.”

Before the Lord, for He is coming, For He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, And the peoples in His faithfulness.

If a king judges the poor with truth, His throne will be established forever.

“ On that day I will raise up the fallen shelter of David, And wall up its gaps; I will also raise up its ruins And rebuild it as in the days of old;

‘ After these things I will return, And I will rebuild the fallen tabernacle of David, And I will rebuild its ruins, And I will restore it,So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,’

Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, A leader and commander for the peoples.

“ Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will live securely; And this is His name by which He will be called,‘ The Lord Our Righteousness.’

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before You.

And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of His servant David—Just as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient times—Salvation from our enemies, And from the hand of all who hate us;To show mercy to our fathers, And to remember His holy covenant,The oath which He swore to our father Abraham,To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, Would serve Him without fear,In holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.

But regarding the Son He says,“ Your throne, God, is forever and ever, And the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom.You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of joy above Your companions.”

Graciousness and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Hezekiah did this throughout Judah; and he did what was good, right, and true before the Lord his God.

You will prolong the king’s life; His years will be like generations.He will sit enthroned before God forever; Appoint faithfulness and truth that they may watch over him.

May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.May the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy, And crush the oppressor.

So David lived in the stronghold, and called it the city of David. And David built all around from the Millo and inward.

Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch from his roots will bear fruit.The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.And He will delight in the fear of the Lord, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make decisions by what His ears hear;But with righteousness He will judge the poor, And decide with fairness for the humble of the earth; And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked.Also righteousness will be the belt around His hips, And faithfulness the belt around His waist.

The God of Israel said it; The Rock of Israel spoke to me:‘ He who rules over mankind righteously, Who rules in the fear of God,

Loyalty and truth watch over the king, And he upholds his throne by loyalty.

Before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness And the peoples with fairness.

Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!
