The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, The scepter of rulers,

耶和华折断了恶人的杖，辖制人的圭，

耶和华折断恶人的杖，打断统治者的权杖；

耶和华折断恶人的杖，打断统治者的权杖；

耶和华折断了邪恶君主的权杖。

耶和华折断了恶人的杖和统治者的棒，

耶和华打断了恶人的杖和管辖者的权杖——

耶和華折斷了惡人的杖，轄制人的圭，

耶和華折斷惡人的杖，打斷統治者的權杖；

耶和華折斷惡人的杖，打斷統治者的權杖；

耶和華折斷了邪惡君主的權杖。

耶和華折斷了惡人的杖和統治者的棒，

永恆主折斷了惡人權柄之杖，毁了轄制人者的指揮棍，

耶和華打斷了惡人的杖和管轄者的權杖——

耶和華折惡人之梃、斷霸者之杖、

昔發憤怒、鞭扑閭閻、不知底止、虐遇鄰邦、不加矜恤、以苛政制人者、今耶和華已折其柄矣。

主已折惡人之梃、暴居之杖、

The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers,

The Lord has taken away the authority of evil people. He has broken the power of rulers.

The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers,

For the Lord has crushed your wicked power and broken your evil rule.

The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers.

Jehovah hath broken the staff of the wicked, the sceptre of the rulers;

Yahweh has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers,

For the scepter of wickedness will not rest upon the land of the righteous, So that the righteous will not extend their hands to do wrong.

For You will break the yoke of their burden and the staff on their shoulders, The rod of their oppressor, as at the battle of Midian.

Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hands is My indignation,

“ Do not rejoice, Philistia, all of you, Because the rod that struck you is broken; For from the serpent’s root a viper will come out, And its fruit will be a winged serpent.

Moab has been destroyed and men have gone up to his cities; His choicest young men have also gone down to the slaughter,” Declares the King, whose name is the Lord of armies.“ The disaster of Moab will soon come, And his catastrophe has hurried quickly.Mourn for him, all you who live around him, And all of you who know his name; Say,‘ How the mighty scepter has been broken, A staff of splendor!’
