The poorest of the poor will find pasture, and the needy will lie down in safety. But your root I will destroy by famine; it will slay your survivors.

Even the poorest people in Israel will have plenty to eat. Those who are in need will lie down in safety. But I will destroy your families. They will die of hunger. I will kill any of them who are still left alive.

这人必居于高处，他的庇护所是坚固的磐石；他的粮必被供应，他的水必不断绝。

“‘希西加啊，以下是给你的征兆：今年你们会吃自生的，第二年你们会吃自长的，而第三年你们将播种、收割，栽种葡萄园，吃其中的果实。

那时，羊羔必来吃草，如同在自己的草场；寄居者也在富有人的废墟中吃食。

因此，主耶和华如此说：“看哪，我的仆人们必有吃的，你们却会挨饿！看哪，我的仆人们必有喝的，你们却会口渴！看哪，我的仆人们必欢喜，你们却会蒙羞！看哪，我的仆人们因心中高兴而欢呼，你们却因心中伤痛而呼号、因灵里破碎而哀号！

他们在右边割肉，还是饥饿；在左边吞噬，仍不饱足；各人竟吞噬自己膀臂的肉。

毁坏与破败，饥荒与刀剑，这两组事情已经临到你，谁会为你悲哀呢？谁会安慰你呢？

他们必经过这地，遭困苦，受饥饿。他们饥饿的时候就发怒，仰面朝天，诅咒自己的君王和自己的神；

你们怎么敢压碎我的子民，碾磨困苦人的脸呢？”这是主万军之耶和华的宣告。
