Do not rejoice, all you Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken; from the root of that snake will spring up a viper, its fruit will be a darting, venomous serpent.

他出兵攻打非利士人，把迦特、雅比尼和亞實突的城牆夷平後，在亞實突境內及非利士人的其他地區興建城邑。

我的仇敵啊，你們不要對我幸災樂禍！我雖跌倒，但必再爬起來；我雖坐在黑暗裡，但耶和華必做我的光。

「人子啊，泰爾譏笑耶路撒冷說，『哈哈！那通往列國的門戶已遭破壞，城門向我大開，她已荒涼，我必興盛。』

到那天，你必不再因背叛我而感到羞愧，因為那時我必除掉你那裡狂妄自大的人，你在我的聖山上必不再高傲。

你的親族遭難之日，你不該幸災樂禍；猶大人被滅的日子，你不該興高采烈；他們遭難的日子，你不該口出狂言；

非利士人獻給耶和華的金毒瘡是分別為亞實突、迦薩、亞實基倫、迦特和以革倫賠罪的。那五隻金鼠是按著非利士五個首領的堅固城邑和村莊的數目獻上的。那塊安放耶和華約櫃的巨石到現在仍然屹立在伯·示麥約書亞的田間。
