The Lord who rules over all has planned it. Who can stop him? He has reached out his powerful hand. Who can keep him from using it?

因为万军之耶和华决定的事，谁能阻拦呢？他的手伸了出来，谁能使他收回呢？

要知道，万军之耶和华已经策划了，有谁能破坏呢？他的手已经伸出了，有谁能使其收回呢？

要知道，萬軍之耶和華已經策劃了，有誰能破壞呢？他的手已經伸出了，有誰能使其收回呢？

萬軍之耶和華、既定其旨、誰能廢之、既伸厥手、誰能挽之、○

我萬有之主耶和華命之、誰得廢之、行之、孰能禦之。

萬有之主既定其謀、誰能廢之、既行其罰、孰能禦之、○

For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?”

The LORD of Armies himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is his hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?

For the Lord of armies has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched out hand, who can turn it back?”

For the Lord of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?”

For Jehovah of hosts hath purposed, and who shall annul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

The Lord of Hosts Himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is His hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?

For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul[ it]? and his hand[ is] stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

Indeed, the LORD who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?

For Yahweh of Armies has planned, and who can stop it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?”

“ And that is not all! I have always been God, and I always will be. No one can save people from my power. When I do something, who can undo it?”

He said,“ Lord, you are the God of our people who lived long ago. You are the God who is in heaven. You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. You are strong and powerful. No one can fight against you and win.

“ But he’s the only God. Who can oppose him? He does anything he wants to do.

If he takes something, who can stop him? Who would dare to ask him,‘ What are you doing?’

No wisdom, wise saying or plan can succeed against the Lord.

I will send for a man from the east to carry out my plan. From a land far away, he will come like a bird that kills its food. I will bring about what I have said. I will do what I have planned.

So the earth will be filled with sadness. The sky above will grow dark. I have spoken, and I will not take pity on them. I have made my decision, and I will not change my mind.”

He was still speaking when he heard a voice from heaven. It said,“ King Nebuchadnezzar, here is what has been ordered concerning you. Your royal authority has been taken from you.You will be driven away from people. You will live with the wild animals. You will eat grass just as an ox does. Seven periods of time will pass by for you. Then you will recognize that the Most High God rules over all kingdoms on earth. He gives them to anyone he wants.”What had been said about King Nebuchadnezzar came true at once. He was driven away from people. He ate grass just as an ox does. His body became wet with the dew of heaven. He stayed that way until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle. His nails became like the claws of a bird.At the end of that time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven. My mind became clear again. Then I praised the Most High God. I gave honor and glory to the God who lives forever. His rule will last forever. His kingdom will never end.He considers all the nations on earth to be nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven. He does what he wants with the nations of the earth. No one can hold back his hand. No one can say to him,“ What have you done?”

A person may have many plans in their heart. But the Lord’ s purpose wins out in the end.

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. He appointed them to be saved in keeping with his purpose.

The Lord who rules over all planned to do it. He wanted to bring down all its pride and glory. He wanted to shame those who were honored all over the earth.

What should we say then? Since God is on our side, who can be against us?

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever. What he wants to do will last for all time.

“ Would you dare to claim that I am not being fair? Would you judge me in order to make yourself seem right?

Arameans from the east have opened their mouths and swallowed up Israel. So have Philistines from the west. Even then, the Lord is still angry. His hand is still raised against them.

Jeremiah the prophet gave a message to the staff officer Seraiah, the son of Neriah. Neriah was the son of Mahseiah. Jeremiah told Seraiah to take the message with him to Babylon. Seraiah went there with Zedekiah, the king of Judah. He left in the fourth year of Zedekiah’s rule.
