萬軍之耶和華、既定其旨、誰能廢之、既伸厥手、誰能挽之、○

我萬有之主耶和華命之、誰得廢之、行之、孰能禦之。

萬有之主既定其謀、誰能廢之、既行其罰、孰能禦之、○

For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

The Lord who rules over all has planned it. Who can stop him? He has reached out his powerful hand. Who can keep him from using it?

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?”

The LORD of Armies himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is his hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?

For the Lord of armies has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched out hand, who can turn it back?”

For the Lord of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?”

For Jehovah of hosts hath purposed, and who shall annul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

The Lord of Hosts Himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is His hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?

For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul[ it]? and his hand[ is] stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

Indeed, the LORD who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?

For Yahweh of Armies has planned, and who can stop it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?”

Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?”

and said,“ O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you.

But he is unchangeable, and who can turn him back? What he desires, that he does.

Behold, he snatches away; who can turn him back? Who will say to him,‘ What are you doing?’

No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the Lord.

calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.

“ For this the earth shall mourn, and the heavens above be dark; for I have spoken; I have purposed; I have not relented, nor will I turn back.”

While the words were still in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven,“ O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: The kingdom has departed from you,and you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. And you shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.”Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles’ feathers, and his nails were like birds’ claws.At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation;all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

The Lord of hosts has purposed it, to defile the pompous pride of all glory, to dishonor all the honored of the earth.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.

Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be in the right?

The Syrians on the east and the Philistines on the west devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still.

The word that Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah king of Judah to Babylon, in the fourth year of his reign. Seraiah was the quartermaster.
