可是，你必墜入陰間，掉進死亡的深坑。

然而，你卻被拋下陰間，落到坑中的極處。

然而你竟被送下陰間，到陰坑中的極深處了！

然而你必被丟下陰間，下到陰坑的極處！

然爾必下陰府、墮於至深之坑、

今爾下陰府幽冥之所、

今爾下示阿勒、墮於坑塹、

But you are brought down to the realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit.

But now you have been brought down to the place of the dead. You have been thrown into the deepest part of the pit.

But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.

But you will be brought down to Sheol into the deepest regions of the Pit.

Nevertheless you will be brought down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit.

But you will be brought down to Sheol into the deepest regions of the Pit.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

But you were brought down to Sheol, to the remote slopes of the pit.

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the depths of the pit.

“ And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today.

Their graves are in the depths of the pit, and they are surrounded by their allies. They struck terror in the hearts of people everywhere, but now they have been slaughtered by the sword.

And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead.”

And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast— miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

The people gave him a great ovation, shouting,“ It’s the voice of a god, not of a man!”Instantly, an angel of the Lord struck Herod with a sickness, because he accepted the people’s worship instead of giving the glory to God. So he was consumed with worms and died.

In that wonderful day when the Lord gives his people rest from sorrow and fear, from slavery and chains,you will taunt the king of Babylon. You will say,“ The mighty man has been destroyed. Yes, your insolence is ended.For the Lord has crushed your wicked power and broken your evil rule.You struck the people with endless blows of rage and held the nations in your angry grip with unrelenting tyranny.But finally the earth is at rest and quiet. Now it can sing again!Even the trees of the forest— the cypress trees and the cedars of Lebanon— sing out this joyous song:‘ Since you have been cut down, no one will come now to cut us down!’“ In the place of the dead there is excitement over your arrival. The spirits of world leaders and mighty kings long dead stand up to see you.With one voice they all cry out,‘ Now you are as weak as we are!Your might and power were buried with you. The sound of the harp in your palace has ceased. Now maggots are your sheet, and worms your blanket.’

They will bring you down to the pit, and you will die in the heart of the sea, pierced with many wounds.Will you then boast,‘ I am a god!’ to those who kill you? To them you will be no god but merely a man!
