You said to yourself,“ I will ascend to the heavens; I will set up my throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the mount of the gods’ assembly, in the remotest parts of the North.

你心裡曾說：‘我要升到天上，我要高舉我的寶座到神的眾星之上，我要坐在聚會的山上，在北方的極處。

你心裏曾說：「我必升到天上；我必高設我的寶座在高高之眾星以上；我必坐在諸神的聚會山上，在北方之極處；

你心裡曾說：『我要升到天上，我要高舉我的寶座在神的眾星之上，我要坐在北方極處的聚會山上，

爾心自謂、我將升天、設位於上帝諸星之上、坐於北極聚會之山、

爾自謂必昇天、位崇隆、越乎至高之星辰、坐峻峭之山、入大會之中、躋北極之所、

爾自謂、我必升天、設位在天主眾星之上、坐於聚會之山、在北之極處、

You said in your heart,“ I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.

You said in your heart,‘ I will go up to the heavens. I’ll raise my throne above the stars of God. I’ll sit as king on the mountain where the gods meet. I’ll set up my throne on the highest slopes of Mount Zaphon.

You said in your heart,‘ I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north;

For you said to yourself,‘ I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars. I will preside on the mountain of the gods far away in the north.

But you said in your heart,‘ I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north.

For you have said in your heart:‘ I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;

And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north;

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

You said to yourself,“ I will climb up to the sky. Above the stars of El I will set up my throne. I will rule on the mountain of assembly on the remote slopes of Zaphon.

You said in your heart,“ I will ascend into heaven! I will exalt my throne above the stars of God! I will sit on the mountain of assembly, in the far north!

“ Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Your heart is proud, and you have said,“ I am a god; I sit in the seat of gods in the heart of the sea.” Yet you are a man and not a god, though you have regarded your heart as that of a god.

It grew as high as the heavenly army, made some of the army and some of the stars fall to the earth, and trampled them.It acted arrogantly even against the Prince of the heavenly army; it revoked his regular sacrifice and overthrew the place of his sanctuary.In the rebellion, the army was given up, together with the regular sacrifice. In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s house will be established at the top of the mountains and will be raised above the hills. All nations will stream to it,

Say to Tyre, who is situated at the entrance of the sea, merchant of the peoples to many coasts and islands,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Tyre, you declared,“ I am perfect in beauty.”

You said,‘ I will be the queen forever.’ You did not take these things to heart or think about their outcome.“ So now hear this, lover of luxury, who sits securely, who says to herself,‘ I am, and there is no one else. I will never be a widow or know the loss of children.’These two things will happen to you suddenly, in one day: loss of children and widowhood. They will happen to you in their entirety, in spite of your many sorceries and the potency of your spells.You were secure in your wickedness; you said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and knowledge led you astray. You said to yourself,‘ I am, and there is no one else.’

As much as she glorified herself and indulged her sensual and excessive ways, give her that much torment and grief. For she says in her heart,“ I sit as a queen; I am not a widow, and I will never see grief.”For this reason her plagues will come in just one day— death and grief and famine. She will be burned up with fire, because the Lord God who judges her is mighty.

This is the jubilant city that lives in security, that says to herself: I exist, and there is no one else. What a desolation she has become, a place for wild animals to lie down! Everyone who passes by her scoffs and shakes his fist.

He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s temple, proclaiming that he himself is God.

rising splendidly, is the joy of the whole earth. Mount Zion— the summit of Zaphon— is the city of the great King.

And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until today.

“ Son of man, lament for the king of Tyre and say to him,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every kind of precious stone covered you: carnelian, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and emerald. Your mountings and settings were crafted in gold; they were prepared on the day you were created.You were an anointed guardian cherub, for I had appointed you. You were on the holy mountain of God; you walked among the fiery stones.From the day you were created you were blameless in your ways until wickedness was found in you.Through the abundance of your trade, you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I expelled you in disgrace from the mountain of God, and banished you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.

“ But you his successor, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, even though you knew all this.Instead, you have exalted yourself against the Lord of the heavens. The vessels from his house were brought to you, and as you and your nobles, wives, and concubines drank wine from them, you praised the gods made of silver and gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or understand. But you have not glorified the God who holds your life-breath in his hand and who controls the whole course of your life.

Speak to him and say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Look, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster lying in the middle of his Nile, who says,“ My Nile is my own; I made it for myself.”

Will you still say,“ I am a god,” in the presence of those who slay you? Yet you will be only a man, not a god, in the hands of those who kill you.

the king exclaimed,“ Is this not Babylon the Great that I have built to be a royal residence by my vast power and for my majestic glory?”While the words were still in the king’s mouth, a voice came from heaven:“ King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared that the kingdom has departed from you.
