他們都要發言對你說：你也變為軟弱像我們一樣嗎？你也成了我們的樣子嗎？

他們都要發言，對你說：『你也變為軟弱，像我們一樣嗎？你也成了我們的樣子嗎？』

他們都要發言，對你說：『你也變為軟弱，像我們一樣嗎？你也成了我們的樣子嗎？』

對你說，『你如今也跟我們一樣軟弱無能。』

他們都必答話，對你說：‘你也變為衰弱，像我們一樣嗎？你也與我們相似嗎？’

他們都必應時對你說：「你也變為衰弱、像我們一樣啊！你也跟我們相似啊！」

他們都必回應你，說：『你竟然像我們一樣變得軟弱無能，與我們相似了！』

僉謂爾曰、爾亦荏弱似我乎、爾與吾儕相若乎、

曰、爾豈如我之荏弱哉、

悉發言向爾曰、爾亦弱同我儕乎、爾與我儕相若乎、

They will all respond, they will say to you,“ You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us.”

All of them call out to you. They say,‘ You have become weak, just as we are. You have become like us.’

All of them will answer and say to you:‘ You too have become as weak as we! You have become like us!’

With one voice they all cry out,‘ Now you are as weak as we are!

They will all respond and say to you,‘ Even you have become weak as we, You have become like us.

They all shall speak and say to you:‘ Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us?

All they shall answer and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

They all respond to you, saying:“ You too have become as weak as we are; you have become like us!

All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

All of them respond to you, saying:‘ You too have become weak like us! You have become just like us!

They all will answer and ask you,“ Have you also become as weak as we are? Have you become like us?”

I said,“ You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.However, you will die like humans and fall like any other ruler.”

For, just like the fool, there is no lasting remembrance of the wise, since in the days to come both will be forgotten. How is it that the wise person dies just like the fool?

Warrior leaders will speak from the middle of Sheol about him and his allies:‘ They have come down; the uncircumcised lie slain by the sword.’

They trust in their wealth and boast of their abundant riches.Yet these cannot redeem a person or pay his ransom to God—since the price of redeeming him is too costly, one should forever stop trying—so that he may live forever and not see the Pit.For one can see that the wise die; the foolish and stupid also pass away. Then they leave their wealth to others.Their graves are their permanent homes, their dwellings from generation to generation, though they have named estates after themselves.But despite his assets, mankind will not last; he is like the animals that perish.This is the way of those who are arrogant, and of their followers, who approve of their words. SelahLike sheep they are headed for Sheol; Death will shepherd them. The upright will rule over them in the morning, and their form will waste away in Sheol, far from their lofty abode.

Mankind, with his assets but without understanding, is like the animals that perish.

But a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, was lying at his gate.He longed to be filled with what fell from the rich man’s table, but instead the dogs would come and lick his sores.One day the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.And being in torment in Hades, he looked up and saw Abraham a long way off, with Lazarus at his side.
