对你说，‘你如今也跟我们一样软弱无能。’

他们都必回应你，说：‘你竟然像我们一样变得软弱无能，与我们相似了！’

他們都要發言對你說：你也變為軟弱像我們一樣嗎？你也成了我們的樣子嗎？

他們都必應時對你說：「你也變為衰弱、像我們一樣啊！你也跟我們相似啊！」

他們都必回應你，說：『你竟然像我們一樣變得軟弱無能，與我們相似了！』

僉謂爾曰、爾亦荏弱似我乎、爾與吾儕相若乎、

曰、爾豈如我之荏弱哉、

悉發言向爾曰、爾亦弱同我儕乎、爾與我儕相若乎、

They will all respond, they will say to you,“ You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us.”

All of them call out to you. They say,‘ You have become weak, just as we are. You have become like us.’

All of them will answer and say to you:‘ You too have become as weak as we! You have become like us!’

With one voice they all cry out,‘ Now you are as weak as we are!

They all respond to you, saying,“ You too have become as weak as we are; you have become like us!

They will all respond and say to you,‘ Even you have become weak as we, You have become like us.

They all shall speak and say to you:‘ Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us?

All they shall answer and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

They all respond to you, saying:“ You too have become as weak as we are; you have become like us!

All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

All of them respond to you, saying:‘ You too have become weak like us! You have become just like us!

They all will answer and ask you,“ Have you also become as weak as we are? Have you become like us?”

我曾說過：“你們都是神，是至高者的兒子。然而，你們要像世人一樣死亡，像世上任何一位領袖一樣倒斃。”

因為智慧人和愚昧人一樣，沒有人永遠記念他們，在未來的日子裡，都會被人遺忘。可歎智慧人跟愚昧人一樣，終必死亡。

勇士中最強的必在陰間論到埃及和幫助埃及的說：‘他們已經下來了，他們與沒有受割禮的，就是被刀所殺的人，一起長眠。’

他們倚靠財富，自誇多財。但他們沒有一個能把他的兄弟贖回，或把他的贖價交給神，（因為他生命的贖價非常昂貴，只好永遠放棄，）使他永遠活著，不見朽壞。他看見智慧人死去，愚昧人和愚頑人一同滅亡，把他們的財產留給別人。他們心裡想，他們的家必永存，他們的住處必留到萬代；他們以自己的名，稱自己的地方。但是人不能長享富貴；他們就像要滅亡的牲畜一樣。這就是愚昧人的道路；但在他們以後的人，還欣賞他們的話。（細拉）他們好像羊群被派定下陰間；死亡必作他們的牧人。到了早晨，正直人要管轄他們；他們的形體必被陰間消滅，他們再沒有住處。

人享富貴而不聰明，就像要滅亡的牲畜一樣。

又有一個乞丐，名叫拉撒路，滿身是瘡，被人放在財主門口，想得財主桌子上掉下來的零碎充飢；並且有狗來舔他的瘡。後來乞丐死了，被天使送到亞伯拉罕的懷裡。那財主也死了，並且埋葬了。財主在陰間受痛苦，舉目遠遠望見亞伯拉罕，和他懷裡的拉撒路，
