For I will shake the heavens. The earth will move from its place when the Lord of Heaven’s Armies displays his wrath in the day of his fierce anger.”

我万军之耶和华在忿恨中发烈怒的日子，必使天震动，使地摇撼，离其本位。

我，万军之耶和华狂怒，就是发烈怒的日子，要令天震动，地必摇撼，离其本位。

我，万军之耶和华狂怒，就是发烈怒的日子，要令天震动，地必摇撼，离其本位。

我万军之耶和华发烈怒的日子，必震动诸天，摇撼大地。

在万军之耶和华发怒的时候，就是我大发烈怒的日子，我要使天震动，大地必摇撼，离开本位。

为此，在万军之耶和华烈怒的日子里，因着我的盛怒，我要使诸天颤抖；大地必从其原处震开。

我－萬軍之耶和華在忿恨中發烈怒的日子，必使天震動，使地搖撼，離其本位。

我，萬軍之耶和華狂怒，就是發烈怒的日子，要令天震動，地必搖撼，離其本位。

Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the Lord Almighty, in the day of his burning anger.

He will make the heavens tremble. He’ll shake the earth out of its place. The Lord who rules over all will show how angry he is. At that time his burning anger will blaze out.

Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place, at the wrath of the Lord of hosts in the day of his fierce anger.

Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will shake from its foundations at the wrath of the LORD of Armies, on the day of his burning anger.

So I will shake the heavens, and the earth will shake loose from its foundation, because of the fury of the LORD who commands armies, in the day he vents his raging anger.

Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place in Yahweh of Armies’ wrath, and in the day of his fierce anger.

The Lord’s voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth will shake. But the Lord will be a refuge for his people, a strong fortress for the people of Israel.

When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise:“ Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.”This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain.

“ Immediately after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

At his command the oceans dry up, and the rivers disappear. The lush pastures of Bashan and Carmel fade, and the green forests of Lebanon wither.In his presence the mountains quake, and the hills melt away; the earth trembles, and its people are destroyed.Who can stand before his fierce anger? Who can survive his burning fury? His rage blazes forth like fire, and the mountains crumble to dust in his presence.

I looked at the earth, and it was empty and formless. I looked at the heavens, and there was no light.I looked at the mountains and hills, and they trembled and shook.

Look up to the skies above, and gaze down on the earth below. For the skies will disappear like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a piece of clothing. The people of the earth will die like flies, but my salvation lasts forever. My righteous rule will never end!

Then the stars of the sky fell to the earth like green figs falling from a tree shaken by a strong wind.The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and all of the mountains and islands were moved from their places.

But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

The heavens above will melt away and disappear like a rolled up scroll. The stars will fall from the sky like withered leaves from a grapevine, or shriveled figs from a fig tree.

“ For this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: In just a little while I will again shake the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the dry land.I will shake all the nations, and the treasures of all the nations will be brought to this Temple. I will fill this place with glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

“ Does it mean nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look around and see if there is any suffering like mine, which the Lord brought on me when he erupted in fierce anger.

And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide.

Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

“ Tell Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah, that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth.I will overthrow royal thrones and destroy the power of foreign kingdoms. I will overturn their chariots and riders. The horses will fall, and their riders will kill each other.

The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts.He will punish the nations and fill their lands with corpses; he will shatter heads over the whole earth.
