I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

The Lord will punish the world because it is so evil. He will punish evil people for their sins. He’ll put an end to the bragging of those who are proud. He’ll bring down the pride of those who don’t show any pity.

I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.

“ I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty.

大地悲哀凋零，世界败落衰残，地上居高位的人也没落了。地被其上的居民所污秽，因为他们犯了律法，废了律例，背了永约。所以，诅咒吞灭大地，住在其上的都有罪；地上的居民被火焚烧，剩下的人稀少。

大龙就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的；它被摔在地上，它的使者也一同被摔下去。我听见在天上有大声音说：“我上帝的救恩、能力、国度，和他所立的基督的权柄现在都来到了。因为那个在我们上帝面前、昼夜控告我们弟兄的，已经被摔下去了。
