我必因邪惡刑罰世界，因罪孽刑罰惡人，使驕傲人的狂妄止息，制伏強暴人的狂傲。

我必因世之惡罰世、懲惡人之罪愆、息滅驕奢者之威勢、制伏強暴者之傲氣、

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

The Lord will punish the world because it is so evil. He will punish evil people for their sins. He’ll put an end to the bragging of those who are proud. He’ll bring down the pride of those who don’t show any pity.

I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.

“ I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty.

I will punish the world for its evil, and wicked people for their iniquities. I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant and humiliate the insolence of tyrants.

伯沙撒啊，你是他的兒子，你雖知道這一切，你心仍不自卑，竟向天上的主自高，使人將他殿中的器皿拿到你面前，你和大臣、皇后、妃嬪用這器皿飲酒。你又讚美那不能看、不能聽、無知無識、金、銀、銅、鐵、木、石所造的神，卻沒有將榮耀歸與那手中有你氣息，管理你一切行動的神。

到那日，眼目高傲的必降為卑；性情狂傲的都必屈膝；惟獨耶和華被尊崇。

驕傲的必屈膝；狂妄的必降卑。在那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇；

卑賤人被壓服；尊貴人降為卑；眼目高傲的人也降為卑。

因為耶和華從他的居所出來，要刑罰地上居民的罪孽。地也必露出其中的血，不再掩蓋被殺的人。

先人既有罪孽，就要預備殺戮他的子孫，免得他們興起來，得了遍地，在世上修滿城邑。

惡人有禍了！他必遭災難！因為要照自己手所行的受報應。

地上悲哀衰殘，世界敗落衰殘；地上居高位的人也敗落了。地被其上的居民污穢；因為他們犯了律法，廢了律例，背了永約。所以，地被咒詛吞滅；住在其上的顯為有罪。地上的居民被火焚燒，剩下的人稀少。

以色列人說：巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒吞滅我，壓碎我，使我成為空虛的器皿。他像大魚將我吞下，用我的美物充滿他的肚腹，又將我趕出去。錫安的居民要說：巴比倫以強暴待我，損害我的身體，願這罪歸給她。耶路撒冷人要說：願流我們血的罪歸到迦勒底的居民。所以，耶和華如此說：我必為你伸冤，為你報仇；我必使巴比倫的海枯竭，使她的泉源乾涸。巴比倫必成為亂堆，為野狗的住處，令人驚駭、嗤笑，並且無人居住。他們要像少壯獅子咆哮，像小獅子吼叫。

卻要以公義審判貧窮人，以正直判斷世上的謙卑人，以口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裏的氣殺戮惡人。

明亮之星，早晨之子啊，你何竟從天墜落？你這攻敗列國的何竟被砍倒在地上？你心裏曾說：我要升到天上；我要高舉我的寶座在神眾星以上；我要坐在聚會的山上，在北方的極處。我要升到高雲之上；我要與至上者同等。然而，你必墜落陰間，到坑中極深之處。凡看見你的都要定睛看你，留意看你，說：使大地戰抖，使列國震動，

「招集一切弓箭手來攻擊巴比倫。要在巴比倫四圍安營，不要容一人逃脫，照着她所做的報應她；她怎樣待人，也要怎樣待她，因為她向耶和華－以色列的聖者發了狂傲。所以她的少年人必仆倒在街上。當那日，一切兵丁必默默無聲。這是耶和華說的。」主－萬軍之耶和華說：你這狂傲的啊，我與你反對，因為我追討你的日子已經來到。狂傲的必絆跌仆倒，無人扶起。我也必使火在他的城邑中着起來，將他四圍所有的盡行燒滅。

他大聲喊着說：巴比倫大城傾倒了！傾倒了！成了鬼魔的住處和各樣污穢之靈的巢穴，並各樣污穢可憎之雀鳥的巢穴。因為列國都被她邪淫大怒的酒傾倒了。地上的君王與她行淫；地上的客商因她奢華太過就發了財。

大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的。牠被摔在地上，牠的使者也一同被摔下去。我聽見在天上有大聲音說：「我神的救恩、能力、國度，並他基督的權柄，現在都來到了！因為那在我們神面前晝夜控告我們弟兄的，已經被摔下去了。
