In that day you will say:“ I will praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.

In days to come, the people of Israel will sing,“ Lord, we will praise you. You were angry with us. But now your anger has turned away from us. And you have brought us comfort.

You will say in that day:“ I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me.

In that day you will sing:“ I will praise you, O Lord! You were angry with me, but not anymore. Now you comfort me.

On that day you will say:“ I will give thanks to you, LORD, although you were angry with me. Your anger has turned away, and you have comforted me.

Then you will say on that day,“ I will give thanks to You, Lord; For although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, And You comfort me.

And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away and thou comfortest me.

On that day you will say:“ I will praise You, Lord, although You were angry with me. Your anger has turned away, and You have had compassion on me.

And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

At that time you will say:“ I praise you, O LORD, for even though you were angry with me, your anger subsided, and you consoled me.

In that day you will say,“ I will give thanks to you, Yahweh; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me.

O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says the Lord, your Redeemer.

And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be—“ The Lord is one,” And His name one.

It shall come to pass in the day the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve,

“ Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God.“ Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the LORD’s hand Double for all her sins.”

In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.In that day sing to her,“ A vineyard of red wine!I, the Lord, keep it, I water it every moment; Lest any hurt it, I keep it night and day.

For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people, And will have mercy on His afflicted.

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would fail before Me, And the souls which I have made.For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry and struck him; I hid and was angry, And he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, And restore comforts to him And to his mourners.

Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, Neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise.“ The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, And your God your glory.

According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I have dealt with them, and hidden My face from them.”’“ Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:‘ Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name—after they have borne their shame, and all their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, when they dwelt safely in their own land and no one made them afraid.When I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and I am hallowed in them in the sight of many nations,then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer.And I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord GOD.”

And it will be said in that day:“ Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”

Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

“ And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

“ I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him.I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon.Those who dwell under his shadow shall return; They shall be revived like grain, And grow like a vine. Their scent shall be like the wine of Lebanon.“ Ephraim shall say,‘ What have I to do anymore with idols?’ I have heard and observed him. I am like a green cypress tree; Your fruit is found in Me.”Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.

Let heaven and earth praise Him, The seas and everything that moves in them.For God will save Zion And build the cities of Judah, That they may dwell there and possess it.Also, the descendants of His servants shall inherit it, And those who love His name shall dwell in it.

As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”

And He shall live; And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; Prayer also will be made for Him continually, And daily He shall be praised.There will be an abundance of grain in the earth, On the top of the mountains; Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon; And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things!And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples;To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord!

For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good?Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit.Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

God be merciful to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us, SelahThat Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You.Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You shall judge the people righteously, And govern the nations on earth. Selah

And it shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will thresh, From the channel of the River to the Brook of Egypt; And you will be gathered one by one, O you children of Israel.So it shall be in that day: The great trumpet will be blown; They will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria, And they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt, And shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

“ Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God drives you,and you return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul,that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you.

Lord, You have been favorable to Your land; You have brought back the captivity of Jacob.You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sin. SelahYou have taken away all Your wrath; You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger.

“ I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself:‘ You have chastised me, and I was chastised, Like an untrained bull; Restore me, and I will return, For You are the Lord my God.Surely, after my turning, I repented; And after I was instructed, I struck myself on the thigh; I was ashamed, yes, even humiliated, Because I bore the reproach of my youth.’Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord.

“ How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I set you like Zeboiim? My heart churns within Me; My sympathy is stirred.

In that day“ HOLINESS TO THE LORD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

There will be a highway for the remnant of His people Who will be left from Assyria, As it was for Israel In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.

In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:“ We have a strong city; God will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks.

For yet a very little while and the indignation will cease, as will My anger in their destruction.”

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”

After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,“ Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”Again they said,“ Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!”And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying,“ Amen! Alleluia!”Then a voice came from the throne, saying,“ Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!”And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying,“ Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners, And they shall fall among the slain.” For all this His anger is not turned away, But His hand is stretched out still.
