May all nations consider him to be favored by God!The LORD God, the God of Israel, deserves praise! He alone accomplishes amazing things!His glorious name deserves praise forevermore! May his majestic splendor fill the whole earth! We agree! We agree!

May they praise God while they hold a two-edged sword in their hand,in order to take revenge on the nations, and punish foreigners.They bind their kings in chains, and their nobles in iron shackles,and execute the judgment to which their enemies have been sentenced. All his loyal followers will be vindicated. Praise the LORD!

For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

May God show us his favor and bless us! Let all the nations thank you!Let foreigners rejoice and celebrate! For you execute justice among the nations, and govern the people living on earth.( Selah)

At that time the LORD will shake the tree, from the Euphrates River to the Stream of Egypt. Then you will be gathered up one by one, O Israelites.At that time a large trumpet will be blown, and the ones lost in the land of Assyria will come, as well as the refugees in the land of Egypt. They will worship the LORD on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

“ When you have experienced all these things, both the blessings and the curses I have set before you, you will reflect upon them in all the nations where the LORD your God has banished you.Then if you and your descendants turn to the LORD your God and obey him with your whole mind and being just as I am commanding you today,the LORD your God will reverse your captivity and have pity on you. He will turn and gather you from all the peoples among whom he has scattered you.

O LORD, you showed favor to your land; you restored the well-being of Jacob.You pardoned the wrongdoing of your people; you forgave all their sin.( Selah)You withdrew all your fury; you turned back from your raging anger.

I have indeed heard the people of Israel say mournfully,‘ We were like a calf untrained to the yoke. You disciplined us and we learned from it. Let us come back to you and we will do so, for you are the LORD our God.For after we turned away from you we repented. After we came to our senses we beat our breasts in sorrow. We are ashamed and humiliated because of the disgraceful things we did previously.’Indeed, the people of Israel are my dear children. They are the children I take delight in. For even though I must often rebuke them, I still remember them with fondness. So I am deeply moved with pity for them and will surely have compassion on them. I, the LORD, affirm it!

How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I surrender you, O Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? I have had a change of heart! All my tender compassions are aroused!

On that day the bells of the horses will bear the inscription“ HOLY TO THE LORD.” The cooking pots in the LORD’s temple will be as holy as the bowls in front of the altar.

There will be a highway leading out of Assyria for the remnant of his people, just as there was for Israel, when they went up from the land of Egypt.

At that time this song will be sung in the land of Judah:“ We have a strong city! The LORD’s deliverance, like walls and a rampart, makes it secure.

They sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:“ Great and astounding are your deeds, Lord God, the All- Powerful! Just and true are your ways, King over the nations!Who will not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name, because you alone are holy? After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,because his judgments are true and just. Hallelujah!”Then a voice came from the throne, saying:“ Praise our God all you his servants, and all you who fear him, both the small and the great!”Then I heard what sounded like the voice of a vast throng, like the roar of many waters and like loud crashes of thunder. They were shouting:“ Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the All- Powerful, reigns!Let us rejoice and exult and give him glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

You will have no place to go, except to kneel with the prisoners, or to fall among those who have been killed. Despite all this, his anger does not subside, and his hand is ready to strike again.
