狼與羔同食、獅囓草如牛、蛇以塵為食、遍我聖山、不傷人、不害人、此乃主所言、

是時我將為我民之故、與野獸、空中飛鳥、地上昆蟲立約、又在國中、折弓刃、去戰爭、使民得安居、

我必與彼立平康之約、驅猛獸於斯地、使之安居郊野、偃臥林中、

蓋天主國不在飲食、乃在義與和與聖神所賜之樂也、

蓋爾曹由信基督耶穌、皆為天主之子、因凡受洗禮以歸基督者、皆衣基督也、

蓋爾曹已死、爾之生命、與基督同藏於天主、基督乃我生命、彼顯現時、爾曹亦必與之同顯於榮光中、故當滅爾在地之肢體所作之罪、即姦淫、污穢、邪侈、惡慾、貪婪、貪婪與拜偶像同罪、因此諸事天主之震怒、臨於不信之人、昔爾生於罪惡中、亦曾行之、今當去此一切、以及忿怒、怨恨、暴戾、謗讟並口中淫穢之詞、

當去爾前行、脫爾舊人、即被惑人之嗜慾見壞者、當以爾心志更換一新、衣以新人、即按天主像、以義及真理之聖德而造者、○故當去誑、彼此言真、因我眾相為肢體、怒則勿犯罪、勿含怒至日沒時、勿容魔乘間、竊者勿復竊、寧服勞、手作善工、得以周濟貧乏、凡穢言勿出爾口、言必善以建德、使聽者獲益、勿使天主之聖神憂、爾由之得印、至於救贖之日、凡怨恨、嗔怒、氣忿、諠譟、毀謗、及一切毒惡、皆當去於爾中、當彼此慈愛憐憫、更當相恕、如天主為基督恕爾也、

基督之愛勉勵我、因我思一人既代眾死、則眾皆死、彼代眾死、則生者勿為己而生、必為代其死而復生者生也、故此後我不以外貌認人、雖曾以外貌認基督、今後不復如此認之、是故人在基督、則為新造之人、舊事已逝、一切更新、萬事皆由天主而有、藉耶穌基督使我儕與己復和、且以勸人與天主復和之職授我、蓋天主在基督內、使世與己復和、不以其罪愆歸之、且以復和之道託我儕、是以我為基督之使、如天主藉我而勸爾、我代基督、求爾與天主復和、天主使彼無罪者、為我儕成為罪、使我儕因彼成為天主之義、或作天主使彼無罪者為我儕視為有罪致我儕賴彼而得天主之義

然以愛故、寧求爾、蓋我保羅已老矣、今因耶穌基督被囚、為我在縲絏中所得之弟子所得之弟子原文作所生之子阿尼西母求爾、彼昔於爾無益、今爾我同得其益、我遣之歸、彼乃我心所切愛者、望爾納之、我為福音受縲絏、原欲留之與我偕居、代爾事我、但未知爾意、我不欲如此行、致爾之為善、非出於勉強、乃出於甘心、彼暫時與爾相離、焉知非使爾永遠得之乎、不復如僕、僕或作奴下同乃較僕為貴、直如可愛之兄弟、我甚愛之、況彼為爾之家人、又為信主者、不更當愛之乎、
