and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;

The Branch will take delight in respecting the Lord. He will not judge things only by the way they look. He won’t make decisions based simply on what people say.

And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear,

He will delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by appearance nor make a decision based on hearsay.

He will take delight in obeying the LORD. He will not judge by mere appearances, or make decisions on the basis of hearsay.

His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;

Stop judging according to outward appearances; rather judge according to righteous judgment.”

You judge by human standards. I judge no one.And if I do judge, My judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me judge together.

But the Lord said to Samuel,“ Do not look at his appearance or his stature, because I have rejected him. Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.”

then you will understand the fear of the Lord and discover the knowledge of God.

So give Your servant an obedient heart to judge Your people and to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”

But solid food is for the mature— for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil.

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people.

And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment,so that you can approve the things that are superior and can be pure and blameless in the day of Christ,

Then you will understand righteousness, justice, and integrity— every good path.

We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone.

Your servant thought: May the word of my lord the king bring relief, for my lord the king is able to discern the good and the bad like the Angel of God. May the Lord your God be with you.”

All Israel heard about the judgment the king had given, and they stood in awe of the king because they saw that God’s wisdom was in him to carry out justice.

There will be times of security for you— a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

and because He did not need anyone to testify about man; for He Himself knew what was in man.

It is of little importance to me that I should be evaluated by you or by any human court. In fact, I don’t even evaluate myself.For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. The One who evaluates me is the Lord.Therefore don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.
