主耶和華的靈在我身上，因為耶和華膏立了我，讓我傳福音給貧窮的人，差遣我醫治傷心的人，宣告被擄的人得釋放、被囚的人得自由；

等到真理之靈來了，祂會引導你們，讓你們明白一切的真理。祂不憑自己說話，而是把祂所聽見的和有關將來的事告訴你們。

「看啊，我所扶持、所揀選、所喜悅的僕人，我已將我的靈賜給祂，祂必將正義帶給萬邦。

並把聖靈賜給你們的愛心告訴了我們。因此，從聽到你們的消息那天起，我們便不斷地為你們禱告，求上帝使你們在一切屬靈的智慧和悟性上完全明白祂的旨意，

耶穌受了洗，剛從水裡上來，天就開了。祂看見上帝的聖靈像鴿子一樣降到祂身上，

我求我們主耶穌基督的上帝——榮耀的父把賜智慧和啟示的靈給你們，好使你們更深地認識祂。我也求上帝照亮你們心中的眼睛，使你們知道祂的呼召給你們帶來了何等的盼望，祂應許賜給眾聖徒的產業有何等豐富的榮耀，

因為上帝賜給我們的不是懦弱的心，而是剛強、仁愛、自律的心。

約翰又做見證說：「我看見聖靈好像鴿子一樣從天降下，住在祂身上。我本來不認識祂，但那位差我來用水給人施洗的告訴我，『你看見聖靈降下，住在誰身上，誰就是用聖靈給人施洗的。』

但從天上來的智慧首先是純潔，然後是愛好和平、溫良柔順、充滿憐憫、多結善果、不存偏見、沒有虛偽。使人和睦的人撒下和平的種子，必收穫仁義的果實。

祂是真理的靈，世人不接受祂，因為他們看不見祂，也不認識祂；但你們卻認識祂，因祂常與你們同在，並且要住在你們裡面。

上帝使你們活在基督耶穌裡，祂使基督耶穌成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔和救贖。

上帝所差來的，說的是上帝的話，因為上帝將聖靈無限量地賜給祂。

耶和華說：「我親自與他們立約，我賜給他們的靈和我放在他們口中的話，必不離開他們和他們的子子孫孫，從現在直到永遠。這是耶和華說的。」

你們到我跟前來聽吧。我一開始就沒有暗地裡說話，事情發生的時候，我就在場。」現在主耶和華差遣我和祂的靈來。

「我要從父那裡為你們差護慰者來，祂就是從父而來的真理之靈。祂來了要為我做見證。

耶和華在雲中降臨，對摩西說話，把降在摩西身上的靈也賜給七十位長老。靈一降在他們身上，他們就說起預言來，但只說了這一次。七十位長老中的伊利達和米達沒有到會幕去，但耶和華的靈也降在他們身上，他們就在營中說起預言來。

嫩的兒子約書亞充滿了智慧之靈，因為摩西曾把手按在他身上。以色列人都聽從他，遵守耶和華對摩西的吩咐。

為要使你們眾人心受鼓勵，聯結在愛裡，有豐富篤定的真知灼見，可以認識上帝的奧祕。這奧祕就是基督，一切智慧和知識都蘊藏在祂裡面。

你們也知道，拿撒勒人耶穌是上帝用聖靈和大能膏立的。祂周遊四方，廣行善事，醫好被魔鬼壓制的人，因為上帝與祂同在。
