聽啊，有人高喊：「在曠野預備耶和華的道，在沙漠修直我們上帝的路。一切山谷將被填滿，大山小丘將被削平；坎坷之地將變得平坦，崎嶇的地面將成為平原。

到那日，主必再次伸手從亞述、埃及、巴特羅、古實、以攔、示拿、哈馬和眾海島救回祂剩餘的子民。

那裡必有一條大路，被稱為「聖潔之路」，專供蒙救贖的人行走。污穢的人都不能走這條路，愚昧的人也不能踏在上面。那裡必沒有獅子，也沒有惡獸，沒有牠們的蹤影，只有蒙救贖的人行走。耶和華救贖的子民必歡唱著回到錫安，洋溢著永遠的快樂。他們必歡喜快樂，憂愁和歎息都消失無蹤。

要出去，去城外，為百姓修平道路。要修築，修築大道，清除石頭，為萬民豎立旗幟。

我要使大山小丘一片荒涼，上面的草木都枯萎。我要使河川變成島嶼，池塘乾涸。我要帶領瞎子走他們不認識的路，引導他們走陌生的道。我要把他們面前的黑暗變為光明，坎坷之地變得平坦。我必行這些事，我必不離棄他們。

耶和華說：「要修路，修路，鋪平道路，清除我子民路上的障礙。」

到那日，號角吹響後，亞述地將要滅亡的以色列人和流散到埃及的以色列人，都必來到耶路撒冷的聖山敬拜耶和華。

看啊，他們必從遠方來，有的來自北方，有的來自西方，還有的來自希尼。」

你們要離開巴比倫，從迦勒底人那裡逃出來。你們要高聲歡呼，向普天下傳揚、宣告：「耶和華救贖了祂的僕人雅各！」耶和華帶領他們經過沙漠，他們也不會口渴。為了他們，祂使水從磐石中流出，祂使磐石裂開、湧出水來。

用榮耀的臂膀扶持摩西，在他們面前把海水分開，使自己威名永存的那位在哪裡？帶領他們經過大海，猶如馬行平川不會失腳的那位在哪裡？

難道不是你使海洋和深淵乾涸，在海中開出道路讓蒙救贖的人穿過的嗎？
