The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.

The Lord will dry up the Red Sea in Egypt. By his power he’ll send a burning wind to sweep over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into many streams. Then people will be able to go across it wearing sandals.

And the Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt, and will wave his hand over the River with his scorching breath, and strike it into seven channels, and he will lead people across in sandals.

The Lord will make a dry path through the gulf of the Red Sea. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams so it can easily be crossed on foot.

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired,[ namely], by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.

And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken[ it].

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and[ that] there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in[ vessels of] wood, and in[ vessels of] stone.And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that[ were] in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that[ were] in the river were turned to blood.And the fish that[ was] in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces,[ and] gavest him[ to be] meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go[ back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry[ land], and the waters were divided.

And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.And they shall turn the rivers far away;[ and] the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no[ more].The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices[ and] ponds for fish.
