They will swoop down on the slopes of Philistia to the west; together they will plunder the people to the east. They will subdue Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites will be subject to them.

耶和華的手必按在這山上；摩押必被踐踏在自己的地方，好像乾草被踐踏在糞坑中——

他必侵入那榮美之地，許多國家將被傾倒，但是以東人和摩押人，亞捫子孫的首要人物必從他的手中被救出。

現在耶和華宣告說：「三個雇工年之內，摩押的榮耀連同它所有的民眾都必被蔑視；它的餘剩者必寥寥無幾、軟弱無力。」

禍哉！你這未遭毀滅的毀滅者，未遭背信之事的背信者！你行完了毀滅，自己必遭毀滅；你做盡了背信之事，自己必遭背信之事。

我耶和華的刀在天上已經喝足了，看哪，這刀要落下施行審判，落在我命定滅絕的民以東人身上！耶和華的刀染滿了血、沾滿了脂油——羊羔和公山羊的血、公綿羊腎臟的脂油；因為耶和華要在波斯拉舉行祭祀，在以東地大行殺戮。

我告訴你們：將有許多人從東從西而來，在天國裡與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席。

亞實基倫看見就害怕，迦薩在痛苦中掙扎；以革倫也如此，因為她所仰望的蒙羞了。君王必從迦薩消亡，亞實基倫必無人居住。混雜的種族必住在阿實圖；我必剪除非利士人的驕傲，我必除掉他們口中的血，以及他們牙齒之間的可憎之物。他們也必作為餘剩者歸於我們的神，像猶大的一族；以革倫人必像耶布斯人那樣。

這樣，人在日落之處必敬畏耶和華的名，在日出之地必敬畏他的榮耀；因為他必來臨，如湍急的洪流，被耶和華的風所驅使。

我要在萬民中間設立一個標記，並派遣他們中的幸存者到列國，就是到塔爾施、普勒、拉弓的呂底亞、圖巴和雅完，以及那些未曾聽過我名聲、未曾見過我榮耀的遙遠海島；他們必在列國中宣揚我的榮耀。他們必從萬國，用馬匹、戰車、篷車、騾子、駱駝，把你們所有的兄弟都帶到我的聖山耶路撒冷，作為供物獻給耶和華，就像以色列子孫用潔淨的器皿把供物帶到耶和華的殿那樣。

那些曾苦待你的，他們的子孫都必來向你屈身；所有曾藐視你的，都要在你的腳前下拜；他們要稱你為「耶和華的城」、「以色列聖者的錫安」。
