世上的一切居民啊，山上竖立旗帜的时候，你们要看；号角吹响的时候，你们要听。

要出去，去城外，为百姓修平道路。要修筑，修筑大道，清除石头，为万民竖立旗帜。

我本要消灭他们，使世人忘记他们；

犹太人彼此议论说：“祂要去哪里使我们找不着呢？难道祂要到我们犹太人侨居的希腊各地去教导希腊人吗？

他们唱着一首新歌：“你配拿书卷并揭开封印，因你曾被杀，用你的血从各部落、各语言族群、各民族、各国家，将人买赎回来归给上帝。

我是做上帝和主耶稣基督奴仆的雅各，问候散居各地的十二支派的人。

这样，日落之处的人必敬畏耶和华的名，日出之地的人必对祂的荣耀肃然起敬。祂必奔来，如被耶和华之气推动的急流。
