然爾敵之眾、終如微塵、強暴者眾、終如飛糠、其事必突成於頃刻間、萬有之主、將以霹靂、地震、迅雷、狂風、暴風、烈火之燄、懲罰敵人、其時攻困亞利伊勒、及其保障之列國軍眾、必將如夢、髣髴夜間幻象、如饑者夢食、醒而仍覺腹空、又如渴者夢飲、醒而仍覺困憊煩渴、攻擊郇山之列國軍眾、亦將若是、

斯時也、羔羊羔羊或作羊群囓草、如於己之牧場、富厚者之田荒蕪、異邦人必來食享、

因爾之怒號向我、又聞爾驕傲之聲、故必穿環於爾鼻、置勒於爾口、使爾由來道而返、

臨陣戰士之戰具、及血染之衣、俱必被焚、為火所燬、

主之使者出、在亞述營中殺十八萬五千人、蚤起視之、惟屍而已、

希律不歸榮於天主、故主之使者、立擊之、為蟲所噬而氣絕、○

以賽亞謂之曰、爾返告爾主王曰、主如是云、爾聞亞述之臣僕褻瀆我、勿因其言而懼、我將使之聞風聲、立意歸其故土、在彼必殞於刃、○

故主必使亞述王率軍旅來攻之、勢如大河之水、狂流洶湧、漲溢出川、氾濫逾岸、

主曰、今我奮興、顯為崇高、顯為至上、爾如懷孕、所孕者秕糠、所產者草芥、爾氣如火、將爾焚燬、列民見焚、如焚石為灰、亦如已刈之荊棘、為火所焚、○爾遠者歟、當聽我之所行、爾近者歟、當知我之大能、郇之罪人畏懼、邪惡之人、無人戰慄、曰、我儕中孰能當此猛火、當此永燃之烈焰、

其軍旅雖如榮茂之樹林園囿、主必使之身心消滅、勢如病者漸衰、
