Therefore, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will send a wasting disease upon his sturdy warriors; under his pomp a fire will be kindled like a blazing flame.

And Jehovah sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty men of valor, and the leaders and captains, in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. Then shall the lambs feed as in their pasture, and the waste places of the fat ones shall wanderers eat.

And he will consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and it shall be as when a standard- bearer fainteth.
