彼曰、我之所為、乃以己手之力、己心之智、我固聰慧、曾移列國之界、虜其貨財、猶如強者傾覆居位之人、

彼曰、我有智有能、克勝鄰邦、虜其財、得其地、惟自恃其能而為之。

彼曰、我移列國之界、擄掠其財、誠如有能者、誠如有能者或作我英勇超群使坐國位者卑降、我行此事、惟倚己臂之力、恃己之智慧、因我明哲、

For he says:“‘ By the strength of my hand I have done this, and by my wisdom, because I have understanding. I removed the boundaries of nations, I plundered their treasures; like a mighty one I subdued their kings.

The king of Assyria says,“‘ By my power I have taken over all these nations. I am very wise. I have great understanding. I have wiped out the borders between nations. I’ve taken their treasures. Like a great hero I’ve brought their kings under my control.

For he says:“ By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom, for I have understanding; I remove the boundaries of peoples, and plunder their treasures; like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.

He boasts,“ By my own powerful arm I have done this. With my own shrewd wisdom I planned it. I have broken down the defenses of nations and carried off their treasures. I have knocked down their kings like a bull.

For he said: I have done this by my own strength and wisdom, for I am clever. I abolished the borders of nations and plundered their treasures; like a mighty warrior, I subjugated the inhabitants.

For he has said,“ By the power of my hand and by my wisdom I did this, Because I have understanding; And I removed the boundaries of the peoples And plundered their treasures, And like a powerful man I brought down their inhabitants,

亚述王把巴比伦、古他、亚瓦、哈马、西法瓦音等地的一些居民迁移到撒玛利亚各城，代替以色列人。

亚述王把以色列人掳到亚述，将他们安置在哈腊、歌散的哈博河一带以及玛代人的城邑里。

他说，‘我的臣仆都要做藩王！

以后我会来领你们到一个地方，那里和这里一样有五谷和新酒、饼和葡萄园。你们就可以存活，不至于死。希西迦说耶和华会拯救你们，不要听信他的话。

“人子啊，你去告诉泰尔王，主耶和华这样说，“‘你心里高傲，说，我是神，我坐在海中神的宝座上。你虽然自以为像神，但事实上你不是神，不过是人。看啊，你比但以理更有智慧，什么秘密都瞒不过你。你凭智慧和头脑发了财，金银装满了你的库房。你靠高超的经商本领使财富大增，因而变得心高气傲。因此，主耶和华说，因为你自以为像神，我要使列国中最残暴的外族人来攻打你，拔刀毁坏你凭智慧得来的美物，玷污你的荣美，使你坠入坟墓，你必惨死在大海中。在杀戮你的人面前，你还能自称为神吗？在杀你的人手中，你不过是人，不是神。

你要告诉他，主耶和华这样说，“‘埃及王法老啊，你这躺卧在自己河中的大怪物，我要与你为敌。你说这尼罗河属于你，是你为自己造的。

迦勒底人向渔网献祭，向渔网烧香，因为他们靠渔网而富裕，食物充足。

以色列王比加执政期间，亚述王提革拉·毗列色来犯，夺取了以云、亚伯·伯·玛迦、亚挪、基低斯和夏琐，占领了基列、加利利及拿弗他利全境，把那里的居民掳往亚述。

“人子啊，泰尔讥笑耶路撒冷说，‘哈哈！那通往列国的门户已遭破坏，城门向我大开，她已荒凉，我必兴盛。’

亚哈斯把耶和华殿里和王宫库房里的金银送给亚述王。

告诉他们要听主耶和华的话。主耶和华说，‘当我的圣所被亵渎，以色列变得荒凉，犹大人被掳的时候，你们竟然哈哈而乐。

你们切勿以为是凭自己的双手和能力致富的。

何细亚执政第九年，撒玛利亚沦陷。亚述王把以色列人掳到亚述，安置在哈腊、歌散的哈博河一带以及玛代人的各城。

“‘你在侮辱、亵渎谁呢？你不放在眼里、高声骂的是谁呢？是以色列的圣者！你借你的使者侮辱主。你说你带着许多战车上到群山之巅，上到黎巴嫩的巅峰，砍下最高的香柏树和上好的松树，征服最高的山和最美的树林。你说你已在外邦之地挖井喝水，已用脚掌踏干埃及的河流。

因此，以色列的上帝驱使亚述王普勒，即提革拉·毗尼色，把吕便人、迦得人、玛拿西半个支派的人掳到哈腊、哈博、哈拉和歌散河边，他们至今还在那里。

你在侮辱、亵渎谁呢？你不放在眼里、高声骂的是谁呢？是以色列的圣者！你借你的使者辱骂主，你说你率领许多战车上到群山之巅，上到黎巴嫩的巅峰，砍下最高的香柏树和上好的松树，征服最高的山和最美的树林。你自夸已在外邦之地挖井取水，已用脚掌踏干埃及的河流。

你们炫耀自己征服了罗底巴，吹嘘凭自己的能力夺取了加宁。

希西迦将耶和华殿里和王宫库房里的所有银子都给了他，

所以，我要使你们被掳到大马士革以外的地方。”这是耶和华说的，祂的名字是万军之上帝。在锡安生活安逸舒适的人啊，你们有祸了！在撒玛利亚山上自觉无忧的人啊，你们有祸了！你们是列国之首以色列的显要，以色列人都仰望你们。你们去甲尼看看，然后从那里到哈玛大城，再到非利士人的迦特看看。你们比这些国家更好吗？他们的领土不比你们的更广阔吗？
