From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness— only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil.

There isn’t a healthy spot on your body. You are not healthy from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head. You have nothing but wounds, cuts and open sores. They haven’t been cleaned up or bandaged or treated with olive oil.

You are battered from head to foot— covered with bruises, welts, and infected wounds— without any soothing ointments or bandages.

他們草率地醫治我子民（“我子民”原文作“我子民的女子”）的損傷，說：‘平安了！平安了！’其實沒有平安。”

上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處，包裹好了，把他扶上自己的牲口，帶他到客店裡照顧他。

耶穌聽見了，就說：“健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要，

因你的忿怒，我體無完膚；因我的罪惡，我的骨頭都不安妥。我的罪孽高過我的頭，如同重擔，使我擔當不起。因為我的愚昧，我的傷口發臭流膿。

你的創傷無法醫治；你受的打擊非常嚴重。聽見你這消息的，都必向你鼓掌；因為你不斷行惡，誰沒有受過害呢？

因著我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）被壓碎，我的心破碎了；我悲傷痛哭，驚慌抓住了我。難道基列沒有乳香嗎？難道那裡沒有醫生嗎？我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）為甚麼總不痊愈呢？

可是，對你們敬畏我名的人，必有公義的太陽升起來；它的光線有醫治的功能；你們必出來跳躍，像欄裡的肥牛犢。”

“國中若是有饑荒、瘟疫、旱風、霉爛、蝗蟲、螞蚱，或是有仇敵圍困城鎮，或是有甚麼災禍，甚麼疾病，你的子民以色列，無論是個別或是全體，自知自己的災禍和痛苦，向著這殿張開雙手禱告或祈求，

於是撒但從耶和華面前退去，擊打約伯，使他從腳掌到頭頂都生了毒瘡。約伯坐在灰燼中，拿瓦片刮自己。

“耶和華這樣說：‘你的損傷無法痊愈，你的創傷不能醫治。

因此我要成為以法蓮的蛀蟲，成為猶大家的朽爛。以法蓮看見自己的疾病，猶大家看見自己的創傷，以法蓮就往亞述去，派人去見亞述的大王。可是他卻不能醫治你們，也不能醫好你們的創傷。

因為他打傷，又纏裹；他擊傷，又親手醫治。

我在患難的日子尋求主，我整夜舉手禱告，總不倦怠，我的心不肯受安慰。

看哪！我必使這城的傷口痊愈康復，我必醫治城中的居民，並且使他們享有十分的平安和穩妥。

又有一個乞丐，名叫拉撒路，滿身是瘡，被人放在財主門口，想得財主桌子上掉下來的零碎充飢；並且有狗來舔他的瘡。
