耶和华说：“你们来，我们彼此辩论；你们的罪虽像硃红，必变成雪白；虽红如丹颜，必白如羊毛。

耶和华说：“来吧，让我们彼此理论；你们的罪虽像朱红，必洁白如雪；虽赤如丹红，必白如羊毛。

耶和華說：「來吧，我們彼此理論！你們的罪雖如猩紅，也必潔白如雪；你們的罪雖如緋紅，也必白如羊毛。

耶和華說：“你們來，我們彼此辯論；你們的罪雖像硃紅，必變成雪白；雖紅如丹顏，必白如羊毛。

永恆主說：『來，我們來彼此辯訴；你們的罪雖像硃紅，必變白如雪；雖紅如丹硃，必白如羊毛。

耶和華說：「來吧，讓我們彼此理論；你們的罪雖像朱紅，必潔白如雪；雖赤如丹紅，必白如羊毛。

耶和華曰、爾曹其來、爾我互辯、爾罪雖丹如朱、將白如雪、雖紅若絳、將白若毛、

耶和華又曰、爾來、吾語汝、爾罪貫盈、其色濃若赭、深若絳、我必使之皓然潔白、如棉如雪。

主曰、爾曹皆來、我與爾明辨、爾罪雖如硃色、必將白如雪、雖紅如絳、必將白如羊毛、或作爾曹皆來我與爾明辨爾罪雖顯如硃紅我必使之白如雪雖紅如丹顏我必使之白如羊毛

“ Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord.“ Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

“ Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord,“ Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.

“ Come, let us discuss this,” says the Lord.“ Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will be like wool.

Come, let’s consider your options,” says the LORD.“ Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool.

“ Come now, and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh:“ Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.I,[ even] I,[ am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong[ reasons], saith the King of Jacob.

Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew[ their] strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.

Who[ is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth[ in] mercy.He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.

Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
