耶和華曰、爾曹其來、爾我互辯、爾罪雖丹如朱、將白如雪、雖紅若絳、將白若毛、

耶和華又曰、爾來、吾語汝、爾罪貫盈、其色濃若赭、深若絳、我必使之皓然潔白、如棉如雪。

主曰、爾曹皆來、我與爾明辨、爾罪雖如硃色、必將白如雪、雖紅如絳、必將白如羊毛、或作爾曹皆來我與爾明辨爾罪雖顯如硃紅我必使之白如雪雖紅如丹顏我必使之白如羊毛

我塗抹了你的過犯，像厚雲消散；我塗抹了你的罪惡，如薄雲滅沒。你當歸向我，因我救贖了你。

你沒有用銀子為我買菖蒲，也沒有用祭物的脂油使我飽足；倒使我因你的罪惡服勞，使我因你的罪孽厭煩。惟有我為自己的緣故塗抹你的過犯；我也不記念你的罪惡。你要提醒我，你我可以一同辯論；你可以將你的理陳明，自顯為義。

求你用牛膝草潔淨我，我就乾淨；求你洗滌我，我就比雪更白。

我對他說：「我主，你知道。」他向我說：「這些人是從大患難中出來的，曾用羔羊的血把衣裳洗白淨了。

耶和華對假神說：你們要呈上你們的案件；雅各的君說：你們要聲明你們確實的理由。

眾海島啊，當在我面前靜默；眾民當重新得力，都要近前來才可以說話，我們可以彼此辯論。

神啊，有何神像你，赦免罪孽，饒恕你產業之餘民的罪過，不永遠懷怒，喜愛施恩？必再憐憫我們，將我們的罪孽踏在腳下，又將我們的一切罪投於深海。

每逢安息日，保羅在會堂裏辯論，勸化猶太人和希臘人。

使他榮耀的恩典得着稱讚；這恩典是他在愛子裏所賜給我們的。我們藉這愛子的血得蒙救贖，過犯得以赦免，乃是照他豐富的恩典。這恩典是神用諸般智慧聰明，充充足足賞給我們的；

保羅照他素常的規矩進去，一連三個安息日，本着聖經與他們辯論，

律法本是外添的，叫過犯顯多；只是罪在哪裏顯多，恩典就更顯多了。

現在你們要站住，等我在耶和華面前對你們講論耶和華向你們和你們列祖所行一切公義的事。

耶和華如此說：你們的列祖見我有甚麼不義，竟遠離我，隨從虛無的神，自己成為虛妄的呢？

保羅講論公義、節制，和將來的審判。腓力斯甚覺恐懼，說：「你暫且去吧，等我得便再叫你來。」

山嶺和地永久的根基啊，要聽耶和華爭辯的話！因為耶和華要與他的百姓爭辯，與以色列爭論。
