我抹掉你的过犯，如同抹掉厚云；我抹掉你的罪恶，如同抹掉薄雾；回转归向我吧，因为我救赎了你！

你没有用银子为我买菖蒲，也没有用祭物的脂油使我满足，不过我却因你的罪恶有重负，因你的罪孽而厌倦。“我，是我为自己的缘故，抹掉你的过犯，不会记念你的罪恶。你可以提醒我，让我们一起争讼！你尽管陈述，好自显为义！

求你用牛膝草清洁我，我就洁净；求你洗涤我，我就比雪更洁白。

我对他说：“我主啊，你是知道的。”他就对我说：“这些人都是从大患难中出来的。他们用羔羊的血洗净了自己的袍子，使它们洁白了。

耶和华对假神说：“呈上你们的案件！”雅各的王说：“拿出你们的证据！”

众海岛啊，你们要在我面前沉默！万民哪，你们要重新得力！近前来开口吧；让我们聚在一起辩明公正！

每逢安息日，保罗就在会堂里讲论，劝导犹太人和希腊人。

归于他恩典荣耀的称赞，这恩典是他在爱子里特别赐给我们的。在他里面，我们藉着他的血，得蒙救赎、过犯得到赦免，都是出于神恩典的丰盛。神以一切的智慧和聪明，使这恩典丰丰富富地临到我们，

保罗照习惯进了会堂，一连三个安息日，引用经文向他们讲论，

律法出现，为要使过犯增多；可是，罪在哪里增多，恩典就在哪里格外增多。

所以，现在你们要站好，我要在耶和华面前与你们讲论耶和华向你们和你们祖先所行的一切公义。

当保罗讲论关于公义、自制和将来的审判时，菲利克斯感到害怕，就说：“你现在可以回去，我有了时间，就会叫你。”
