Israel cries out to me,‘ Our God, we acknowledge you!’

Israel shouts to me,‘ We recognize you as our God!’

To me they cry,“ My God, we— Israel— know you.”

Now Israel pleads with me,‘ Help us, for you are our God!’

Israel cries out to me,“ My God, we know you!”

They cry out to Me,“ My God, we of Israel know You!”

Israel will cry to Me,‘ My God, we know You!’

They shall cry unto me, My God, we Israel know thee.

Israel cries out to Me,“ My God, we know You!”

Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.

They cry to me,‘ My God, we Israel acknowledge you!’

“ Not everyone who says to me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven– only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

They profess to know God but with their deeds they deny him, since they are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.

Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, then you will stand outside and start to knock on the door and beg him,‘ Lord, let us in!’ But he will answer you,‘ I don’t know where you come from.’

When he struck them down, they sought his favor; they turned back and longed for God.They remembered that God was their protector, and that the sovereign God was their deliverer.But they deceived him with their words, and lied to him.They were not really committed to him, and they were unfaithful to his covenant.

Listen to this, O family of Jacob, you who are called by the name‘ Israel,’ and are descended from Judah, who take oaths in the name of the LORD, and invoke the God of Israel– but not in an honest and just manner.Indeed, they live in the holy city; they trust in the God of Israel, whose name is the LORD who commands armies.

Woe to them! For they have fled from me! Destruction to them! For they have rebelled against me! I want to deliver them, but they have lied to me.They do not pray to me, but howl in distress on their beds; They slash themselves for grain and new wine, but turn away from me.

Later, the other virgins came too, saying,‘ Lord, lord! Let us in!’

Then I will return again to my lair until they have suffered their punishment. Then they will seek me; in their distress they will earnestly seek me.

Stop putting your confidence in the false belief that says,“ We are safe! The temple of the LORD is here! The temple of the LORD is here! The temple of the LORD is here!”
