Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the Lord loves by marrying women who worship a foreign god. (niv)

Israel cries out to me,‘ Our God, we acknowledge you!’But Israel has rejected what is good; an enemy will pursue him.They set up kings without my consent; they choose princes without my approval. With their silver and gold they make idols for themselves to their own destruction. (niv)

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!So, because you are lukewarm— neither hot nor cold— I am about to spit you out of my mouth. (niv)
