彼所歸誠者、非至上之主、如弦絕弓反、口出妄言、諸牧伯亡於鋒刃、為埃及人姍笑。

彼所歸誠者、非至上之主、彼如已翻之弓、其侯伯殞亡於刃、因其口出狂言、必因此為伊及國之人所姍笑、

They do not turn to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword because of their insolent words. For this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.

I am the Most High God. But they do not turn to me. They are like a bow that does not shoot straight. Their leaders will be killed by swords. They will die because they have spoken too proudly. The people of Egypt will make fun of them.”

They return, but not upward; they are like a treacherous bow; their princes shall fall by the sword because of the insolence of their tongue. This shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

They look everywhere except to the Most High. They are as useless as a crooked bow. Their leaders will be killed by their enemies because of their insolence toward me. Then the people of Egypt will laugh at them.

They turn to Baal; they are like an unreliable bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword because their prayers to Baal have made me angry. So people will disdain them in the land of Egypt.

反倒退后，行诡诈，像他们的祖宗一样，他们翻转，如同松弛的弓，

他们必不得住耶和华的地；以法莲却要返回埃及，在亚述吃不洁净的食物。

他们的口亵渎上天，他们的舌毁谤全地。

主耶和华如此说：“你必喝你姊姊的杯，那杯又深又广，盛得很多，使你遭受嗤笑讥刺。

看哪，他们要逃避灾难；埃及人要收殓他们，摩弗人要埋葬他们。蒺藜盘踞他们贵重的银器，荆棘必占据他们的帐棚。

他们说：“我们必能以舌头取胜，我们的嘴唇是自己的，谁能作我们的主呢？”

虽有这一切的事，她奸诈的妹妹犹大还不一心归向我，不过是假意归我。这是耶和华说的。”

“污灵离了人身，走遍无水之地寻找安歇之处，却找不到。就说：‘我要回到我原来的屋里去。’他到了，看见里面打扫干净，修饰好了，就去另带了七个比自己更恶的灵来，都进去住在那里。那人后来的景况比先前更坏了。”

我告诉你们，凡是人所说的闲话，在审判的日子，要句句供出来；

至于我的性命，我好像躺卧在吞噬人的狮子当中；他们的牙齿是枪、箭，他们的舌头是快刀。

耶路撒冷败落，犹大倾倒；因为他们的舌头和行为与耶和华相悖，无视于他荣光的眼目。

他们的心向他不坚定，不忠于他的约。

我的百姓偏要背离我，他们虽向至高者呼求，他却不抬举他们。

以法莲哪，我可以向你怎样行呢？犹大啊，我可以向你怎样做呢？因为你们的慈爱如同早晨的云雾，又如速散的露水。

因为那义人住在他们当中，他正义的心因天天看见和听见他们不法的事而伤痛；

他们因离弃我，必定有祸；因违背我，必遭毁灭。我虽想要救赎他们，他们却向我说谎。

他们献祭物作为给我的供物，却自食其肉，耶和华并不悦纳他们。现在他必记起他们的罪孽，惩罚他们的罪恶；他们必返回埃及。以色列忘记造他的主，建造宫殿，犹大增添许多坚固的城；我却要降火在他的城镇，吞灭其堡垒。

他们到了所去的列国，使我的圣名被亵渎；因为人谈论他们说，这是耶和华的子民，却从耶和华的地出来。

他们说：“来吧！让我们设计谋害耶利米；因为我们有祭司讲律法，有智慧人设谋略，有先知说预言，都未曾断绝。来吧！让我们用舌头攻击他，不要理他一切的话。”

龙又赐给那只兽说夸大亵渎话的口，又赐给它权柄可以任意行事四十二个月。

那些在磐石上的，就是人听道，欢喜领受，但没有根，不过暂时相信，等到碰上试炼就退后了。

同样，舌头是小肢体，却能说大话。看哪，最小的火能点燃最大的树林。

你这行诡诈的人哪，你的舌头像快利的剃刀，图谋毁灭。
