在其庇亞、喇馬當吹角、在伯亞文號呼、當告便雅憫族敵將追襲。

“ Blow the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah! Sound a battle cry at Beth Aven, behind you, Benjamin!

They are deeply depraved As in the days of Gibeah; He will remember their guilt, He will punish their sins.

Though you, Israel, play the prostitute, Judah must not become guilty; Also you are not to go to Gilgal, Nor go up to Beth aven And take the oath:“ As the Lord lives!”

Blow a trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, For the day of the Lord is coming; Indeed, it is near,

Declare in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem, and say,“ Blow the trumpet in the land; Cry aloud and say,‘ Assemble, and let’s go Into the fortified cities.’

Then Samuel went to Ramah, but Saul went up to his house at Gibeah of Saul.

From Ephraim those whose root is in Amalek came down, Following you, Benjamin, with your peoples; From Machir commanders came down, And from Zebulun those who wield the staff of office.

They have gone through the pass, saying,“ Geba will be our encampment for the night.” Ramah is terrified, and Gibeah of Saul has fled.

Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the Lord, Because they have violated My covenant And rebelled against My Law.

let seven men from his sons be given to us, and we will hang them before the Lord in Gibeah of Saul, the chosen of the Lord.” And the king said,“ I will give them.”

Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is near Beth aven, east of Bethel, and said to them,“ Go up and spy out the land.” So the men went up and spied out Ai.

The inhabitants of Samaria will fear For the calf of Beth aven. Indeed, its people will mourn for it, And its idolatrous priests will cry out over it, Over its glory, since it has left it.

Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah;

Then he would make his return to Ramah, because his house was there, and there he also judged Israel; and there he built an altar to the Lord.

So the Levite, the husband of the woman who was murdered, answered and said,“ I came with my concubine to spend the night at Gibeah which belongs to Benjamin.But the citizens of Gibeah rose up against me and surrounded the house at night, threatening me. They intended to kill me; instead, they raped my concubine so that she died.And I took hold of my concubine and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout the land of Israel’s inheritance; for they have committed an outrageous sin and vile act in Israel.

Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed; Thorns and thistles will grow on their altars; Then they will say to the mountains,“ Cover us!” And to the hills,“ Fall on us!”Since the days of Gibeah you have sinned, Israel; There they stand! Will the battle against the sons of injustice not overtake them in Gibeah?

Blow a trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly,

And he set up one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan.

However, his master said to him,“ We will not turn aside into a city of foreigners who are not of the sons of Israel; instead, we will go on as far as Gibeah.”And he said to his servant,“ Come, and let’s approach one of these places; and we will spend the night in Gibeah or Ramah.”So they passed along and went their way, and the sun set on them near Gibeah which belongs to Benjamin.They turned aside there to enter and spend the night in Gibeah. When they entered, they sat down in the public square of the city, for no one took them into his house to spend the night.

“ Flee to safety, you sons of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem! Blow a trumpet in Tekoa And raise a warning signal over Beth haccerem; For evil looks down from the north, Along with a great destruction.
