Israel’s arrogance testifies against them; the Israelites, even Ephraim, stumble in their sin; Judah also stumbles with them.

Israel’s pride proves that they are guilty. The people of Ephraim trip and fall because they have sinned. Judah falls down along with them.

塑造偶像的全都虚空，他们所喜爱的毫无益处；为偶像本身作见证的，一无所见，一无所知，他们都必蒙羞。

恶人因自己的恶行被推倒，义人在临死时有投靠。

这世代的眼目多么高傲！连他的眼皮也高高抬起。

纯全人的公义修直自己的道路；恶人必因自己的邪恶而仆倒。

因为我们的过犯在你面前增多，我们的罪恶证实我们的不是；我们的过犯与我们在一起，我们也知道我们的罪孽：

恶人必然难逃罪责，但义人的后裔必蒙拯救。

祸哉！以法莲酒徒的高傲冠冕——荣耀华美的将残之花！它就在醉酒人肥沃之谷的山顶上。看哪！主有一位大能大力者，如冰雹暴雨，如毁灭的狂风，又如汹涌冲击的雨水；他必亲手把它摔落在地。以法莲酒徒的高傲冠冕，必被踩踏在脚下；

他们脸上的表情证实自己的不是；他们像所多玛那样公然显露自己的罪；他们毫不隐藏。他们有祸了，因为他们为自己招来了灾祸。

因为义人即使跌倒七次，也能再起来；恶人却被祸患倾倒。

以法莲和住撒马利亚的众民知道了，就心思自高自大，说：“砖头坠落了，我们就用凿好的石头重建；桑树砍倒了，我们就用香柏树更换！”

这样，你们就见证了自己是杀害先知们的那些人的后代。
