But let no one dispute; let no one argue, for my case is against you priests.

無人審鞫、無人指責、爾民若抗逆祭司者、

“ But let no one bring a charge, let no one accuse another, for your people are like those who bring charges against a priest.

“ But you priests should not blame the people. You should not find fault with one another. After all, your people could also bring charges against you.

Yet let no one contend, and let none accuse, for with you is my contention, O priest.

“ Don’t point your finger at someone else and try to pass the blame! My complaint, you priests, is with you.

Yet let no one find fault, and let no one rebuke; For your people are like those who contend with a priest.

“ Now let no man contend, or rebuke another; For your people are like those who contend with the priest.

Yet let no man strive, neither let any man reprove; for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.

But let no one dispute; let no one argue, for My case is against you priests.

Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people[ are] as they that strive with the priest.

Do not let anyone accuse or contend against anyone else: for my case is against you priests!

“ Yet let no man bring a charge, neither let any man accuse; for your people are like those who bring charges against a priest.

The person who acts arrogantly, refusing to listen either to the priest who stands there serving the LORD your God or to the judge, must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

Therefore, those who have insight will keep silent at such a time, for the days are evil.

Ephraim is attached to idols; leave him alone!

Why do you look at the splinter in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the beam of wood in your own eye?Or how can you say to your brother,‘ Let me take the splinter out of your eye,’ and look, there’s a beam of wood in your own eye?Hypocrite! First take the beam of wood out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the splinter out of your brother’s eye.Don’t give what is holy to dogs or toss your pearls before pigs, or they will trample them under their feet, turn, and tear you to pieces.

Then certain ones said,“ Come, let’s make plans against Jeremiah, for instruction will never be lost from the priest, or counsel from the wise, or a word from the prophet. Come, let’s denounce him and pay no attention to all his words.”

A close relative and burner will remove his corpse from the house. He will call to someone in the inner recesses of the house,“ Any more with you?” That person will reply,“ None.” Then he will say,“ Silence, because the LORD’s name must not be invoked.”

I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth, and you will be mute and unable to be a mediator for them, for they are a rebellious house.
