昔爾在園囿林樹間、奉事偶像、以為悅懌、後必恥之。

當約西亞王年間、耶和華告耶利米曰、以色列族有若淫婦、爾豈不見乎、彼背我、陟高巒、入茂林、狥欲而行。

爾既藐視我、以赫人烏利亞之妻為妻、人必以刃擊爾家、歷久不已。耶和華又云、我必使惡人生於爾家、爾之骨肉奪爾嬪妃、白晝宣淫、為爾目擊。爾隱行是惡、我將於以色列族前顯以報爾。

不崇永生上帝之榮、反拜速朽世人禽獸昆蟲之像、故上帝聽其心之嗜慾、淪於污穢、互辱其身、夫恆久所當頌美者上帝也、乃人棄真尚偽、崇奉受造之物、不崇奉造化之主、是以上帝聽其縱慾污行、婦女以順性之用、變為逆性之施、男子亦然、棄婦女順性之用、嗜慾灼爍、男與男作愧恥之事、身受悖戾當得之報、彼既不以上帝存於中、上帝聽其喪心、行所不當行、

爾取衣服、五彩俱備、飾諸崇坵、狥欲而行、自昔迄今、未有若此、後亦無有。

我導之入迦南、踐我誓言、彼見高巒茂林、遂獻祭奉禮、焚香灌奠、干我震怒。我雖責之曰、臨登崇坵奚為、迄今民登崇坵、不易其俗。

迄今召之愈殷、背之愈甚、獻祭於巴力、焚香於偶像、

如我為婦女所惑、或瞷人不在而誘其妻、則願我之妻、為人旋磨、凌辱於人。

耶和華曰、越在疇昔、斯民焚香、奉事巴力、違逆乎我、譬彼婦女、以耳環金索、修飾自好、從其所懽、故我必加以罰、

爾曹陟高岡以獻祭、且置床焉、

我耶和華爾之上帝、爾違逆予、不遵我命、入諸茂林、崇事他上帝、今當任過。

爾於市廛、遍築高臺、招彼途人、與己行淫、爾雖殊色、人厭而棄之矣。

越在疇昔、我折爾軛、解爾結、爾曰、必不犯罪、然於群峰之巔、茂林之下、縱欲奉事偶像。
