清酒醇醪過飲、生侮慢、載號載呶、沉湎於酒、無智甚矣。

斯邦之人、自祭司至先知、縱飲無度、沉湎於酒、至於跬步不能自主、雖目睹異象、而心志仍昏、雖為民折中、而剖決不明。

自當謹慎、勿以饜飫沉湎、世之憧擾累心、恐其日突然臨爾、

我民縱欲、棄我上帝、厥心昏昧、問偶像、卜以籤、望其應對、

妓女猶深坑、淫婦若陷阱、隨在匿跡以誘人、使蹈罪愆。誰遭禍患、誰起爭競、誰搆怨尤、誰目赤身傷、出於無因、惟耽麯櫱、嘗旨否、調劑甚厚者則若是。勿以觀酒為樂、其色貴朱、入爵則沸、依法而流、不知其終、酒傷若蛇、其毒若蝮、既沈湎於酒、則目注淫婦、心思邪僻、其危也、若偃息海中、高枕桅上。勿自謂受擊而不傷、醉為無害、醒而再飲。

凡此皆所當行、因知屆期、今宜寤矣、較我初信之時、福更近之、夜既央、晝伊邇、當解行暗之衣、服光明之甲、行所當行、有如晝日、勿沉湎而蕩檢、勿冒色而邪侈、勿鬥忿而媢嫉、勿圖情欲、以任所嗜、惟主耶穌基督是佩是服、

飲宴之時、鼓琴彈瑟、播鼗吹蕭、耶和華之彰癉、彼不以為意、

非義之利、使智為狂、惟行賄賂、壞人心術。
