你要吃，却吃不饱；你的虚弱必显在你中间。你必挪去，却不得救护；所救护的，我必交给刀剑。

我要折断你们的杖，就是断绝你们的粮。那时，必有十个女人在一个炉子给你们烤饼，按分量秤给你们；你们要吃，也吃不饱。

你们撒的种多，收的却少；你们吃，却不得饱；喝，却不得足；穿衣服，却不得暖；得工钱的，将工钱装在破漏的囊中。”

至于以法莲人，他们的荣耀必如鸟飞去，必不生产，不怀胎，不成孕。纵然养大儿女，我却必使他们丧子，甚至不留一个。我离弃他们，他们就有祸了。”我看以法莲如推罗栽于美地。以法莲却要将自己的儿女带出来，交与行杀戮的人。耶和华啊，求你加给他们，加什么呢？要使他们胎坠乳干。耶和华说：“他们一切的恶事都在吉甲；我在那里憎恶他们。因他们所行的恶，我必从我地上赶出他们去，不再怜爱他们；他们的首领都是悖逆的。以法莲受责罚，根本枯干，必不能结果，即或生产，我必杀他们所生的爱子。”我的神必弃绝他们，因为他们不听从他；他们也必飘流在列国中。

耶何耶大死后，犹大的众首领来朝拜王；王就听从他们。

义人吃得饱足；恶人肚腹缺粮。

他口中的言语尽是罪孽诡诈；他与智慧善行已经断绝。

你们的女儿淫乱，你们的新妇行淫，我却不惩罚她们；因为你们自己离群与娼妓同居，与妓女一同献祭。这无知的民必致倾倒。

义人若转离义行而作罪孽，照着恶人所行一切可憎的事而行，他岂能存活吗？他所行的一切义都不被记念；他必因所犯的罪、所行的恶死亡。

至于那偏行弯曲道路的人，耶和华必使他和作恶的人一同出去受刑。愿平安归于以色列！

所以，主耶和华如此说：“我的仆人必得吃，你们却饥饿；我的仆人必得喝，你们却干渴；我的仆人必欢喜，你们却蒙羞。我的仆人因心中高兴欢呼，你们却因心中忧愁哀哭，又因心里忧伤哀号。你们必留下自己的名，为我选民指着赌咒。主耶和华必杀你们，另起别名称呼他的仆人。这样，在地上为自己求福的，必凭真实的神求福；在地上起誓的，必指真实的神起誓。因为，从前的患难已经忘记，也从我眼前隐藏了。”

如今你们回转，行我眼中看为正的事，各人向邻舍宣告自由，并且在称为我名下的殿中、在我面前立约。

“众祭司啊，这诫命是传给你们的。万军之耶和华说：你们若不听从，也不放在心上，将荣耀归与我的名，我就使咒诅临到你们，使你们的福分变为咒诅；因你们不把诫命放在心上，我已经咒诅你们了。我必斥责你们的种子，又把你们牺牲的粪抹在你们的脸上；你们要与粪一同除掉。

与那些转去不跟从耶和华的，和不寻求耶和华也不访问他的。”

倘若他们因认识主救主耶稣基督，得以脱离世上的污秽，后来又在其中被缠住、制伏，他们末后的景况就比先前更不好了。他们晓得义路，竟背弃了传给他们的圣命，倒不如不晓得为妙。俗语说得真不错：狗所吐的，它转过来又吃；猪洗净了又回到泥里去滚；这话在他们身上正合适。
