Then the Lord said to me,“ Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans.”

耶和华对我说：“你再去爱一个淫妇，就是她情人所爱的；好像以色列人，虽然偏向别神，喜爱葡萄饼，耶和华还是爱他们。”

耶和华又对我说：“你去爱那情人所爱却犯奸淫的妇人，正如耶和华爱那偏向别神、喜爱葡萄饼的以色列人。”

耶和华又对我说：“你去爱那情人所爱却犯奸淫的妇人，正如耶和华爱那偏向别神、喜爱葡萄饼的以色列人。”

耶和华对何西阿说：“你要再去爱那个另有新欢的淫妇，像耶和华爱以色列人一样爱她。尽管他们祭拜别的神明，喜爱葡萄饼，耶和华仍然爱他们。”

耶和华对我说：“你再去爱一个妇人，这妇人是为情人所爱，又是个淫妇，就像耶和华爱以色列人，虽然他们转去跟随别神，喜爱葡萄饼。”

耶和華對我說：「你再去愛一個淫婦，就是她情人所愛的；好像以色列人，雖然偏向別神，喜愛葡萄餅，耶和華還是愛他們。」

耶和華又對我說：「你去愛那情人所愛卻犯姦淫的婦人，正如耶和華愛那偏向別神、喜愛葡萄餅的以色列人。」

耶和華又對我說：「你去愛那情人所愛卻犯姦淫的婦人，正如耶和華愛那偏向別神、喜愛葡萄餅的以色列人。」

耶和華對何西阿說：「你要再去愛那個另有新歡的淫婦，像耶和華愛以色列人一樣愛她。儘管他們祭拜別的神明，喜愛葡萄餅，耶和華仍然愛他們。」

耶和華對我說：“你再去愛一個婦人，這婦人是為情人所愛，又是個淫婦，就像耶和華愛以色列人，雖然他們轉去跟隨別神，喜愛葡萄餅。”

永恆主對我說：『你再去、愛這婦人，她情人所愛、又是淫婦的；好像永恆主愛以色列人；雖然他們偏向別的神，喜愛葡萄餅，永恆主還是愛他們。』

耶和華諭我曰、爾其復往、愛彼淫婦、他人所愛者、如以色列人雖轉向他神、嗜其葡萄餅、耶和華仍愛之、

耶和華告我曰、維彼淫婦、從其所歡、爾眷愛之、以色列族從事他上帝、所奉之酒、彼樂飲焉、余愛斯民亦若是、

主諭我曰、爾再往、愛人所愛之淫婦、以指主雖眷愛以色列人、彼反向他神、喜所獻於偶像之葡萄餅、或作爾再往眷愛一婦婦雖為夫所愛而婦將行淫猶如主眷愛以色列人以色列人仍向他神喜所獻於偶像之葡萄餅

The Lord said to me,“ Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.”

The Lord said to me,“ Go. Show your love to your wife again. She is loved by another man. And she has committed adultery. But I want you to love her just as I love the people of Israel. They turn to other gods. And they love to offer raisin cakes to Baal and eat them. In spite of that, I love my people.”

And the Lord said to me,“ Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins.”

Then the Lord said to me,“ Go and love your wife again, even though she commits adultery with another lover. This will illustrate that the Lord still loves Israel, even though the people have turned to other gods and love to worship them.”

Then the LORD said to me,“ Go again; show love to a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, just as the LORD loves the Israelites though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.”

Then the Lord said to me,“ Go again, love a woman who is loved by her husband, yet is committing adultery, as the Lord loves the sons of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.”

And Jehovah said unto me, Go again, love a woman beloved of her friend, and an adulteress, even as Jehovah loveth the children of Israel, though they turn unto other gods, and love cakes of raisins.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Go again; show love to a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, just as the Lord loves the Israelites though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.”

Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of[ her] friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

The LORD said to me,“ Go, show love to your wife again, even though she loves another man and continually commits adultery. Likewise, the LORD loves the Israelites although they turn to other gods and love to offer raisin cakes to idols.”

Yahweh said to me,“ Go again, love a woman loved by another, and an adulteress, even as Yahweh loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods, and love cakes of raisins.”

When the Lord began to speak by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea:“ Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry And children of harlotry, For the land has committed great harlotry By departing from the Lord.”So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.

Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, So have you dealt treacherously with Me, O house of Israel,” says the Lord.

“ They say,‘ If a man divorces his wife, And she goes from him And becomes another man’s, May he return to her again?’ Would not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; Yet return to Me,” says the Lord.“ Lift up your eyes to the desolate heights and see: Where have you not lain with men? By the road you have sat for them Like an Arabian in the wilderness; And you have polluted the land With your harlotries and your wickedness.Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no latter rain. You have had a harlot’s forehead; You refuse to be ashamed.Will you not from this time cry to Me,‘ My father, You are the guide of my youth?

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say:‘ return, backsliding Israel,’ says the Lord;‘ I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful,’ says the Lord;‘ I will not remain angry forever.Only acknowledge your iniquity, That you have transgressed against the Lord your God, And have scattered your charms To alien deities under every green tree, And you have not obeyed My voice,’ says the Lord.“ Return, O backsliding children,” says the Lord;“ for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.You will give truth to Jacob And mercy to Abraham, Which You have sworn to our fathers From days of old.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord.

“ Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

Many times He delivered them; But they rebelled in their counsel, And were brought low for their iniquity.Nevertheless He regarded their affliction, When He heard their cry;And for their sake He remembered His covenant, And relented according to the multitude of His mercies.He also made them to be pitied By all those who carried them away captive.

Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.

Do not rejoice, O Israel, with joy like other peoples, For you have played the harlot against your God. You have made love for hire on every threshing floor.The threshing floor and the winepress Shall not feed them, And the new wine shall fail in her.

So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord. And His soul could no longer endure the misery of Israel.

But the Lord was gracious to them, had compassion on them, and regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not yet destroy them or cast them from His presence.

They lie down by every altar on clothes taken in pledge, And drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He has mercy on us.

“ How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I set you like Zeboiim? My heart churns within Me; My sympathy is stirred.

“ Harlotry, wine, and new wine enslave the heart.

Who drink wine from bowls, And anoint yourselves with the best ointments, But are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

‘ Therefore thus says the Lord:“ I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy; My house shall be built in it,” says the Lord of hosts,“ And a surveyor’s line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.”’

Then he distributed among all the people, among the whole multitude of Israel, both the women and the men, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins. So all the people departed, everyone to his house.

“ For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples;

But Jesus said to him,“ Friend, why have you come?” Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him.

In the day of our king Princes have made him sick, inflamed with wine; He stretched out his hand with scoffers.

For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles— when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.

He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy,As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and to his seed forever.”

And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written,“ The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”

Then they rose early on the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

“ Even when they made a molded calf for themselves, And said,‘ This is your god That brought you up out of Egypt,’ And worked great provocations,Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on the road; Nor the pillar of fire by night, To show them light, And the way they should go.

So they went out into the fields, and gathered grapes from their vineyards and trod them, and made merry. And they went into the house of their god, and ate and drank, and cursed Abimelech.

Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful.

In that day a man will look to his Maker, And his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel.He will not look to the altars, The work of his hands; He will not respect what his fingers have made, Nor the wooden images nor the incense altars.
