你行這一切可憎和淫亂的事，並沒有想過你年幼的日子，那時你赤身露體，在血中掙扎。

如果你心裡問：“這些事為甚麼發生在我身上呢？”這是由於你極大的罪孽；你的袍子被掀起，你的下體（“下體”原文作“腳跟”）暴露出來。

“看哪！日子快到，這是主耶和華的宣告。我必使饑荒臨到這地，這饑荒不是因為沒有食物，這乾渴不是因為沒有水；而是因為聽不見耶和華的話。他們從這海飄流到那海，從北到東，到處奔走，要尋求耶和華的話，卻尋不見。“到那日，美麗的少女和青年男子都因乾渴昏倒。

它的城鎮變為荒涼，成為乾旱的地和沙漠，沒有人住在裡面，也沒有人經過。

大地悲哀衰殘，黎巴嫩羞慚枯乾；沙崙好像荒原，巴珊和迦密的樹木凋零。

這世代的人哪！你們要注意耶和華的話：‘對以色列人來說，難道我是曠野，或是黑暗的地方？我的子民為甚麼說：我們自由了，不再到你那裡去了？

參孫非常口渴，就呼求耶和華說：“你既然藉著你僕人的手施行這麼大的拯救，現在我怎可以渴死，落在未受割禮的人手中呢？”

你的聖城變了曠野，錫安成了曠野，耶路撒冷成了荒場。

所以我要把所有與你歡合的愛人，就是所有你所愛的和你所恨的，都聚集起來；我要把他們從四圍聚集起來攻擊你；我要在他們面前露出你的下體，使他們看見你全身赤裸。我要審判你，像審判行姦淫和流人血的婦人一樣；我要因我的烈怒和妒忿，使流人血的罪歸在你身上。我要把你交在他們手裡，他們要拆毀你的高岡，破壞你的高壇，剝去你的衣服，奪去你美麗的珠寶，只留下你赤露的身軀。

那時，我要在她那些愛人眼前，暴露她的下體；也沒有人能救她脫離我的手。

我要把你們帶到萬族的曠野，在那裡當面審判你們。我怎樣在埃及地的曠野審判你們的祖先，也必怎樣審判你們。這是主耶和華的宣告。

你的下體必暴露出來，你的羞恥要被人看見；我必報仇，不顧惜任何人。

他必像沙漠中的灌木，福樂來到，他也必看不見，卻要住在曠野乾旱之地、無人居住的鹹地。

論到你出生的景況：在你生下來的日子，沒有人替你斷臍帶，沒有人用水洗你，使你潔淨，沒有人撒鹽在你身上，也沒有人用布包裹你。沒有人顧惜可憐你，願意為你作上述任何一件事；你卻被人拋棄在田野，因為你出生的時候，你是被人厭惡的。“‘但我從你身旁經過，見你在血中掙扎。那時，你躺在血中，我對你說：要活下去（《馬索拉文本》重複一遍“那時，你躺在血中，我對你說：要活下去”，現參照其他抄本和古譯本翻譯）。我使你生長起來，像田間的植物。於是你生長起來，漸漸長大，好像最美麗的珠寶，你的兩乳長成，頭髮秀長；但你仍是赤身露體。我又從你身旁經過，見你已經到了談情說愛的時候，我就用我的衣襟搭在你身上，遮蓋你赤裸的身體；我又向你起誓，與你立約，於是你就屬於我了。這是主耶和華的宣告。

所以，我必把你的袍子掀到你的臉上，使人看見你的醜態。

我觀看，肥美田園變為荒野；在耶和華面前，就是在他烈怒之下，所有的城市都被拆毀。

你看見的十角和那獸，都要恨那淫婦，使她荒涼赤身，又要吃她的肉，用火把她燒掉。

他們必剝去你的衣服，奪去你華麗的飾物。這樣，我必使你的淫蕩和你從埃及地沾染的淫亂離開你，你的眼必不仰望他們，你也必不再懷念埃及。因為主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我必把你交在你所恨的人手裡，就是交在你的心所疏遠的人手裡。他們必以憎恨待你，奪去你一切勞碌得來的，留下你赤身露體；你行淫的下體、你的淫蕩和淫亂，都必顯露出來。

因為耶和華論到猶大王的宮殿這樣說：“雖然在我看來，你好像基列，好像黎巴嫩的山峰；我卻要使你變為曠野，變為無人居住的城市。

人民在那裡渴望得水喝，就向摩西發怨言，說：“你為甚麼把我們從埃及領上來，使我們和我們的兒女，以及我們的牲畜都渴死呢？”

許多牧人毀壞了我的葡萄園，踐踏了我的田地；他們使我美好的田地變為荒涼的曠野。

他們也不問：‘那領我們從埃及地上來，引導我們走過曠野，走過荒漠有深坑之地、乾旱死蔭之地、無人經過、無人居住之地的耶和華在哪裡呢？’
