我必使之居於斯地、或作我必以之栽植國中原文作我必種之於斯地必矜憫素未蒙矜憫者、謂非為我民者曰、爾乃我民、彼亦必曰、主乃我天主、

As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.And it shall come to pass,[ that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye[ are] not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

But ye[ are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:Which in time past[ were] not a people, but[ are] now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It[ is] my people: and they shall say, The LORD[ is] my God.

[ Is he] the God of the Jews only?[ is he] not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

Then said[ God], Call his name Loammi: for ye[ are] not my people, and I will not be your[ God].Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass,[ that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye[ are] not my people,[ there] it shall be said unto them,[ Ye are] the sons of the living God.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God[ is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them,[ and be] their God.And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that[ thou] shouldest keep all his commandments;And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name[ shall be] great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense[ shall be] offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name[ shall be] great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days[ it shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard[ that] God[ is] with you.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and[ things] wherein[ there is] no profit.

Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead,[ even] Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and[ they] of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.

My beloved[ is] mine, and I[ am] his: he feedeth among the lilies.

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.And devout men carried Stephen[ to his burial], and made great lamentation over him.As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed[ them] to prison.Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
