我必播斯民於斯土、矜憫乎未受矜憫者、語未為我民者曰、爾為我民、彼必曰、爾為我上帝、

我必使斯民、居斯土、昔不矜恤、後必矜恤之、昔不稱之為民、後必稱之為我民、彼稱我為上帝。

我必使之居於斯地、或作我必以之栽植國中原文作我必種之於斯地必矜憫素未蒙矜憫者、謂非為我民者曰、爾乃我民、彼亦必曰、主乃我天主、

I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called‘ Not my loved one.’ I will say to those called‘ Not my people,’‘ You are my people’; and they will say,‘ You are my God.’”

Then I will plant her as my own in the land. I will have pity on‘ No Pity’( Lo-Ruhamah). I will say to‘ Not My People’( Lo-Ammi),‘ You are my people!’ And he will say,‘ You are my God!’”

正如神在何西阿书上也说：“我将要称那不是我子民的为‘我的子民’，那不蒙爱的为‘蒙爱的’。从前在什么地方对他们说‘你们不是我的子民’，就在那里，他们将被称为‘永生神的儿女。’”

但你们属于蒙拣选的族类、君王的祭司体系、圣洁的国度，是属神的子民；为要使你们宣扬曾召唤你们的那一位的美德——他召唤你们出黑暗，入他奇妙的光明。你们从前不是子民，但如今却是神的子民；从前没有蒙怜悯，但如今却蒙了怜悯。

难道神只是犹太人的神吗？不也是外邦人的神吗？是的，他也是外邦人的神，

我又听见有大声音从宝座上传来，说：“看哪，神的居所在人间，神将要与人一同居住。他们将要做他的子民，神将要亲自与他们同在，做他们的神。神要从他们的眼中抹去一切泪水。将来不再有死亡，也不再有悲伤、哭泣或痛苦，因为先前的事已经过去了。”

所有的地极都要记念耶和华，并且归向他；列国的万族都要在他面前下拜；

要知道，从日出之地到日落之处，我的名在列国中为大；在各处都必有人为我的名献香、献洁净的供物，因为我的名在列国中为大。”这是万军之耶和华说的。

公使们将从埃及前来，库实也急忙向神伸出手。

正如你们以前不肯信从神而现在却因他们的不信从反而蒙了怜悯；照样，他们如今也不肯信从，为要藉着你们所蒙的怜悯，让他们现在也可以蒙怜悯，因为神把所有的人都圈在不信从之中，是为了要怜悯所有的人。

并且使外邦人因着所蒙的怜悯而荣耀神，正如经上所记：“为此，我要在外邦人中承认你，歌颂你的名。”经上又说：“外邦人哪，你们要与他的子民一同庆祝！”又说：“万国啊，你们要赞美主！万民哪，你们要颂赞他！”

其实他们自己在宣扬有关我们的事，说我们是怎样进到你们那里，你们是怎样离弃偶像归向神、服事又活又真的神，并且等候他那从天降临的儿子，就是神使他从死人中复活的耶稣——他拯救我们脱离那将要来临的震怒。

愿五谷在大地、在群山的顶上丰盛；愿它们的果实晃动，如同黎巴嫩的香柏树；愿城中人丁兴旺，如同地上的牧草。

神和主耶稣基督的奴仆雅各，问候散居在各地的十二个支派。

你是我的神，我要称谢你；你是我的神，我要尊崇你。

这人说‘我属耶和华’，那人用雅各的名自称，另一人在自己的手上写下‘属耶和华’，把以色列作为自己的名。”

耶稣基督的使徒彼得，致那些蒙拣选，分散在本都、加拉太、卡帕多细亚、亚细亚、比提尼亚寄居的人，就是按照父神的预知，藉着圣灵分别为圣，以致顺从耶稣基督，又蒙他宝血所洒的人：愿恩典与平安多多地加给你们！

扫罗也赞同杀害司提反。从那一天开始，有大逼迫临到耶路撒冷的教会。除了使徒以外，他们都分散到犹太和撒马利亚地区。有些虔诚的人把司提反埋葬了，为他大大地悲伤。扫罗却摧残教会，闯进各家各户，无论男女都拉去关进监狱。于是那些分散的人就走遍各地传讲福音。
