As he saith also in Hosea, I will call that my people, which was not my people; And her beloved, that was not beloved.And it shall be, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, There shall they be called sons of the living God.

But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:who in time past were no people, but now are the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

And I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

Or is God the God of Jews only? is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yea, of Gentiles also:

And Jehovah said, Call his name Lo- ammi; for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

Thou hast avouched Jehovah this day to be thy God, and that thou wouldest walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and hearken unto his voice:and Jehovah hath avouched thee this day to be a people for his own possession, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;and to make thee high above all nations that he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that thou mayest be a holy people unto Jehovah thy God, as he hath spoken.

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto Jehovah; And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the Gentiles, saith Jehovah of hosts.

And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

Yea, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of Jehovah.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.

Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

O Jehovah, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, unto thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Our fathers have inherited nought but lies, even vanity and things wherein there is no profit.

Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall haste to stretch out her hands unto God.

For as ye in time past were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience,even so have these also now been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you they also may now obtain mercy.For God hath shut up all unto disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all.

And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.

There shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; The fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

And I will sow them among the peoples; and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and shall return.

And Saul was consenting unto his death. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church which was in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judæa and Samaria, except the apostles.And devout men buried Stephen, and made great lamentation over him.But Saul laid waste the church, entering into every house, and dragging men and women committed them to prison.They therefore that were scattered abroad went about preaching the word.
