“‘ I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land. They will dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

“‘“ Those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out, and will make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs and the spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years;so that they will take no wood out of the field, and not cut down any out of the forests; for they will make fires with the weapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them,” says the Lord Yahweh.

In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. This is his name by which he will be called: Yahweh our righteousness.

The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, the calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.

He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

For you will be allied with the stones of the field. The animals of the field will be at peace with you.

The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat straw like the ox. Dust will be the serpent’s food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says Yahweh.

He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.

The lofty looks of man will be brought low, the arrogance of men will be bowed down, and Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day.

and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.But they will sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and no one will make them afraid: For the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken.

Yahweh will be King over all the earth. In that day Yahweh will be one, and his name one.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of Yahweh,“ He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.

The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the arrogance of men shall be brought low; and Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.

I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow will be cut off; and he will speak peace to the nations: and his dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

Many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell among you, and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

In that day,’ says Yahweh of Armies,‘ you will invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.’”

Your threshing shall continue until the vintage, and the vintage shall continue until the sowing time. You shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.“‘ I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one will make you afraid. I will remove evil animals out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

In that day, this song will be sung in the land of Judah:“ We have a strong city. God appoints salvation for walls and bulwarks.

In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. This is the name by which she will be called: Yahweh our righteousness.”

His feet will stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in two, from east to west, making a very great valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Therefore don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says Yahweh. Don’t be dismayed, Israel. For, behold, I will save you from afar, and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.

He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
